Stopped in during the Livingstone College homecoming and the food was amazing! I ordered the jerk pork and they were very generous with portions. I ended up sampling a lot of the food and was not disappointed. I wish I lived closer so I could visit more often.

The lunch special is always the way to go. You can’t get a plate with this much food for $9 anywhere else I know of. The staff is always super chill and friendly and quick to serve. I appreciate this little spot and the people in it.

Everything was delicious, the plate is definitely worth the price. Oxtails were amazing and so was the yellow rice and greens. First time visiting but won’t be the last. Great customer service as well! The young lady that took my order was super sweet!

My family and I visited for Mother's Day and boy, did we receive a real treat! The chef personally served our meals! Each dish was impeccably decadent and affordable! Everyone was friendly and hospitable. Quaint atmosphere - dine in or eat outside then shop afterwards. Decent prices on the dinners as well as the groceries.

I was there a week or so from GA. I had the oxtails, greens and rice, the food was amazing and the owner and the staff was extremely nice and the proportions was superb. Seeing BOB MARLEY'S PICTURE ON THE WALL DEFINITELY GAVE ME THAT JAMAICAN VIBE! I LOVE THIS PLACE AND I WILL REVISIT SOON!

The food is AWESOME. It is freshly cooked for you. They are very friendly.

Price is just right.

I love this place. The food was seasoned right. The proportions were just enough. The prices for lunch was only $7. I would definitely recommend this place. The owner was nice and generous. I also had their fried plantains but they were so good I ate them before taking the pics.

This place is a very great friendly atmosphere and oh my God excellent true Jamaican authentic food! Always greeted with a smile when we come in and you couldn't get better food for a better price!!

I love this place! The food is delicious! There hasn’t been anything that I have tried that I wouldn’t eat again. From oxtails, to jerk chicken, brown stew chicken, even curry chicken and goat (which I would have never thought I would like 🤷🏼‍♀), it’s always delicious! They have assorted patties that I suggest trying as well! My favorite is the beef or curry chicken! You get a lot of food on the plate. I always have leftovers for the next day! 😋

The staff here are one of a kind! I have never walked through the door and felt unwelcome. They greet us with a smile, and know what my fiancé is getting before he even tells them! When the staff of a restaurant conversation and makes you feel as though your business is appreciated, it makes you want to come back all the time!

You guys are awesome, and I know that I will see you soon! Probably the end of the week if my fiancé has anything to do with it! 🤣

Authentic food, unique flavors. I personally like the brown stew. Lunch special 11am to 3pm Monday through Friday.

Had the jerk pork with rice and peas. Chef asked if I wanted to try some potato salad and there was some cabbage in as well that was very good. Will definitely be back.

First time and it was great! I had Jerk Chicken with rice and plantains. There were also greens and cabbage. I sat outside at one of the picnic tables. The food was delicious and plentiful. Sitting, there I couldn't help but notice the Dairy Queen next door; but that's a different review. I will be back to Carribean Island Cafe.

First time there, everyone was friendly, and the food was delicious! We had the jerk chicken and jerk ribs. We will definitely be back!

This Fufu is so good I wasn’t expecting the meat with it but it was yummy to my tummy the Stewed and Curry chicken was great as well!!!

Love this place! Its an hour from my house and I will drive any day for some good Jamaican food. Did a catering order recently (curry chicken, curry goat) and everything was a hit. Food and service is ALWAYS in point!

We decided to give this local spot a try and were pleasantly surprised. We decided to order while at the restaurant once it was our first time and the reviews were mixed. I ordered the Oxtail and Jerk Chicken combo with Rice and Peas and Cabbage. I also ordered a side of Mac and Cheese and a piece of Coco Bread to share. We had a little wait since we didn’t order ahead but it’s homemade and worth it. The food was hot, flavorful and plentiful.

I do wish all employees were wearing a mask and gloves but at least the person who was customer facing did. All the customers I saw were wearing masks. They also had the back door open so there was more ventilation I guess. We would definitely order here again.

My sister and I wanted to try something new and it’s a good thing we did! The atmosphere of the restaurant is very welcoming. The staff is friendly and the food is great very flavorful😋. Not only do they have great food but they also have a section of goodies you can purchase such as seasonings, Jamaican spice buns and incense. I will definitely be coming back😌
