Motel 6 Mcalester, OK

No bed bug bites, our hotel room was not given away, the room was pretty clean, and the beds seemed like new and had no odor. Also, Spiderman was on, and who doesn’t love to watch one of Sam Raimi’s best movies!

Clean comfortable bed. Excellent TV and WiFi. Polite professional staff. Refrigerator and microwave in the room but no coffee pot. Coffee is available in the lobby. I’d stay here again. stayed here again and it was just as pleasant as the first time. stayed here a 3rd time and found it just as nice and a bargain as before.

My stay was a unscedueled stop due to tire issues. We booked a reservation last minute got to motel 6 and greeted with friendly smiles. The room was well maintained and very clean. Having my OSHA certification I tend to look for thing that others miss. In this case I found nothing to cause concern.

The floors weren't STICKY at all. Very CLEAN. Loved our stayed here it is one of the cleanest hotels we have stayed at while traveling. Recommend. Reasonable pricing. Children friendly. My kids really enjoyed our stay too!

The desk person was very pleasant. The room was very nice, clean, tidy, just very nice.

It's nice if you like a more nonchalant laid back ,quiet ,small get away. They allow pets and definitely good spot right off the highway,they diesel or travel trailer parking ,affordable as hello.

Good value for the money. Pleased with how clean the rooms were. Poor choice for towel rack and no place to put toilet articles. Staff was wonderful.

Well cared for no frills motel. Our stay was comfortable. The room is spacious, had a working microwave and mini fridge. No coffee machine ( that's ok not big coffee drinkers). Bathroom was well maintained aside from a small stain on the tub. I did not see any bugs at all. I love that there is no gross carpet so the floor is easier to clean and won't retain smells. Beds were comfortable. There's no breakfast but at $40 a night for a safe comfortable stay you can't argue. The area is quiet. The entrance to the parking lot is terrible, huge pot hole, but that is probably something the town needs to fix and not something the motel can fix or help. Would stay here again.

This motel has really stepped up it's game. The staff was very polite and professional. The room was very clean and everything worked. Definitely stop here if your passing the McAlester Oklahoma area. Enjoy!!!

Rooms are clean comfortable and cable was great. Staff was friendly and even called to let me know about a cancelation so I could stay an additional night. I am grateful to have been a guest there for 2.5 weeks

Great price and pets were free. Room was clean. 06/28/22 Update- hotel still clean. Beds and pillows were comfortable. The owner has a small personal vegetable garden behind the hotel that adds to the charm. Quick to get on and off the highway. Great place

Very nice clean, quiet rooms for the price, staff was very friendly. Disappointed they don’t have shampoo, breakfast, and their direct tv channels are very limited. Otherwise it was great will stay here again!

Found the staff unhelpful on a recent stay. Had noisy neighbors next door knocking/bumping on the wall. Asked staff to move me to another room but the woman said I'd have to pay another night's fee to do that (it was 8pm at that point). I thought she'd at least contact them. I had to ask them myself (politely) about the noise and they said sorry, its the kids. It continued until 10:30pm. There are many other bargain and mid-range motels within a mile so I expected more consideration especially since I've stayed at least twice a year for the past decade to visit family.

I saw that there were a few rooms available the evening I set out for my trip and arrived around 10:00 PM without a reservation. I rang the buzzer on the counter and the attendant come immediately. It was a no hassle experience and I had the key in a few minutes.

The room was a little on the small side and had a single bed. It appeared to have been recently remodeled and was in pristine condition. I found nothing to complain about and enjoyed my stay.

If you need a basic room for the night this is a great place to stay.

The rooms are updated and kept really clean. The beds are firm and quite comfortable along with a window seat that makes a great reading nook. There's a little patio/deck area with a picnic table overlooking some cattails and tall grass that allows for a nice relaxing break. It's off the main road and quiet with a convenience store right next door, within walking distance. The staff is friendly and the price is the best in town.

I was very late arriving, a bit before midnight. Was greeted and checked in quickly and without fuss. Hotel is clean; my guest rooms seemed very recently renovated and I felt cared for by the cleanliness. Great night sleep, woke early and left to finish my journey. Well done, Motel 6.

This is the second time I've stayed at this particular location. The first time was nice but there was a strange diaper smell. This year there was no smell. The room was immaculately clean. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet. I like the large parking lot. I am usually pulling a trailer so this always helps. Next time I'm in McAllister I will stay at this hotel.

You can't beat the price! We've stayed here during several trips to Oklahoma to assist a relative who had a major surgery on Christmas Eve day. The staff are very kind and courteous. The rooms were very clean and tidy. We'll be staying here again in 2020.
