My first time ordered chicken wraps, mozzarella breadsticks, and pinto beans w/ hush puppies. All tasted very good homestyle. If you want comfort food style then this is the place!

Sweetest little restaurant in the mountains! The service was amazing, the best I've had in years! My fiancé ordered the seafood dinner, and I got the pizza sub. We shared the chili fries as an appetizer and they knocked it out of the park! Hands down best chili fries I've ever had in my life.

I was really pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The service was on point and the food was piping hot and tasted great. The fried squash was really good and the Club sandwich, unlike most other clubs in the area, does not have lunch meat, but instead has thick sliced ham and chicken breast. You get a lot for what you pay, as long as you stay away from the Motz sticks. I can really see why this place is as popular as it is. Will be back!

We chose the club sub because of a previous review I saw. Y'all this sub had real ham and real turkey on it! Not deli meat. It was so good!😋 I think next time we will split it lol. Service was great!

Very nice, family operated restaurant. The staff was friendly. Great tasting food served pretty quick. Definitely this is the place I will come again if I am around.

Wonderful diner foods. Best hot dog and fries I've had in a long time. Treated like family whenever I'm there. Extensive menus as well as catering. The homemade cakes and pies looked wonderful.

The food was awesome! The fresh mad cookies and cakes looked sooo good, but I was stuffed! The best BLT I've had!! They aren't stingy with the fries either!

My son and I stopped here on our way to Hanging Rock. We were instantly greeted by a waitress with a beautiful smile. The food was excellent (especially the fries). My 8 year old son finished all of his food as well. The atmosphere was quiet and comforting 😊

Waitress, was amazing. Perfect mom an pop restaurant, weather you're just passing through or here on the regular! Great selection! Food was hot fresh, will definitely be back!

This place is a gem! The hush puppies were delicious and they even have a veggie burger for vegans and vegetarians. The food is affordable too. The staff was so friendly and welcoming to us out of towners :) thank you Dan river family restaurant for being so welcoming (and yummy!)

We had a day of hiking at Hanging Rock State Park and found this great restaurant for an early dinner. We all 3 had the Hamburger Steak and it was delicious as well as the sides we had with it. The waitress we had was very friendly and did a great job. We will definitely return again!!

Date 04152023- only one star was missing which I gave today after eating my favorite omelette. Oh man, it was heavenly and perfect/fulfilling. The fun fect is restaurant owner do care about your feedback and they make sure that ask is fulfilled🙏⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Date 03042023 - This place is my to go for breakfast early morning and 80%. It doesn’t disappoint you. I love my vegetable omelette with bacon and toasted bread every time and if cook is not in good mood, he can miss the ingredients. I will keep updating my notes based on my visits.

We stopped here after going to Hanging Rock State Park. Delicious hamburger steak and hush puppies. I had pintos, green beans, apples and cornbread! Wow! Food was fantastic! While paying, we also noticed their homemade cookies! Delicious dessert! Wonderful place to eat and service was great!

It's great food the chef salad was huge I brought it home to eat on Sunday dinner

This restaurant is just a quaint little place that looks like a hole in the wall. Don't be taken aback by the rustic appearance. The food is fantastic. I ordered a burger and it was huge and simply delicious. The homemade chips were wonderful. The staff was courteous and kind and they checked up on us many times to see if we were satisfied.

Since the new owners took over, this place is once again on my dining list. Fabulous burgers and the BBQ and dairy specials are awesome. Their homemade cakes are really good too! It's awesome place to grab breakfast as well, the fried tenderloin will not disappoint!

Such a great little spot. Judging it as a small town family restaurant I must give it a 5. Great pizza and they have cauliflower crust, which made this vegetarian super happy! The service was super friendly as well! Stop by after a hike at hanging rock, you wont be disappointed!
