Frothy Monkey

Fabulous experience! The food was fresh & delicious; the coffee was, too! Wonderful combination of flavors, and we could tell everything was home made. Exceptional service.

We got:
• Rosemary Honey Latte (delicious & subtle)
• Turtle Latte
• Golden Monkey Latte (iced)
• Broadbent Omelette
• Capri Breakfast Sandwich
• Betsy sandwich + tomato soup

This place is very accepting of everyone which is why they attract a wide variety of customers. The Farm Breakfast was delicious. Fresh eggs and the Gouda grits was delicious. The bacon and everything bagel were the perfect crisp. All food tasted great and fresh, even the butter came out as fresh cubes. The orange juice (bottled) was also fresh with pulp. We dug in so quick that I forgot to take any pictures :(.

The Gouda grits are amazing. I also had the bagel with eggs, bacon and cheddar…so good. I had a half caf Golden Monkey… wonderful!!!

The iced latte with oat milk was a 5/5. The coffee was strong and prepared with a perfect coffee to oat milk ratio. I had the The Be Hive Mash which is vegan but for me was 4/5. It was very delicious but I did not like the vegan sausage very much. I should have substituted the vegan sausage for the portobello mushroom. With the portobello mushroom the dish would be a 5/5 and I would totally recommend. The restaurant atmosphere was great like a nice chill and cool coffee shop. I would definitely return to try the dish with the portobello mushrooms. The service was fantastic. Great parking.

This is our very first stop once arriving to Nashville, and we are so happy we decided to give this place a visit! The staff is very friendly. The ambience is wonderful and the people and food are amazing! We were super hungry from a long flight early this morning and arrived just in time for brunch, and decided to give this place a visit. My wife and I both had wonderful breakfasts and even got something for our son. We will certainly be back and would recommend this place to anyone visiting Nashville. Zoe our waitress was extremely attentive and did a great job serving us! She even provided recommendations which were spot on! Keep up the great work!

The Gail salad was one of the best in my life. The perfect salad does exist!

What can I say about it? They have the best service, place and breakfast menu from the whole city of Nashville. The sandwich and sweet dishes are just amazing. In addition, the coffee variety is so interesting that you could not get tired of try all of them over and over.
IMPORTANT: The prices are quite high but it is worth it every dollar ;)

Delicious coffee, with single origin options, and fantastic breakfast. We got the farm breakfast and everything was fresh and tasty, though I wasn’t a fan of the grits. Their gluten free toast was SO GOOD!!

We had the sweetest server! Everyone there was so nice. The gin drink (Garden something) was the most refreshing and tasty drink.

Fresh greens, great coffee and tea selection, and a great atmosphere. Friendly staff. It will be packed for weekend brunches. The iced monkey mocha was very good! Definitely coming back to just order that again.

This place is fantastic. We had an excellent experience when we visited for Saturday brunch. The drinks were awesome. The coffee, as expected was great. Lots of cool in house coffee drinks as well a huge to go coffee beans, syrups, and coffee equipment selection. On the boozy side of things, the Irish Coffee was wonderful and the Bloody Mary was one of the best I've ever had. The food was wonderful as well. I had a Pesto breakfast sandwich and my partner had the French Toast. We were both stealing bites from each other because we loved both things so much. Isabella, our server, was lovely! She had great suggestions, and was exceptionally kind. In addition to taking great care of us, the staff was incredible to our dog. They got him cold water on a hot day without us asking, and when we got him some eggs, they put them in a dog bowl so it was much easier for him to devour in 12 seconds as per usual. Anyway, check this place out, you won't regret it.

Stopped by the frothy monky with a few friends to grab breakfast. I ordered the huevos rolondos and added the barbacoa. This is a very sizeable meal and very delicious! We sat down ordered our drinks and waited for a while for our server. When they did have to interact he was kind of dismissive. The food came out and my buddy was missing his eggs. It took awhile for anyone to check to make sure our order was complete. They did finally get the eggs to him and did not charge just wish it had not taken so long.

Loved everything about this place! Good coffee selection and delicious. Bakery was wonderful and fresh (chocolate croissant to die for!!) and full menu (my omelet was healthy and yummy). Reasonably priced, safe neighborhood coffee shop/restaurant, be prepared to wait on a Saturday morning with the neighbors!!!

I have loved Frothy Monkey for all of my 11 years in Nashville, but this location is my favorite. Great food, coffee and atmosphere. I had the most uplifting service today with Brettlynn who was not only awesome with efficient service but brought a smile to my face and so many others I could see at tables around me. What a gem!

The barista (who said she was new at being a barista) was not only super friendly but knowledgeable about coffee and made sure the espresso was dialed in for a spectacular experience and taste. Whoever trained her did a great job! Kudos to the staff. I can’t wait to try some of this Rwanda Natural at home! I’ll definitely be coming back.

The breakfast sandwich and cheesy grits were delicious! I also got the Roman Holiday and did not even get a picture of it because it was so tasty it was gone real quick. The staff were all friendly, quick, and helpful in giving me great ideas about how to spend my afternoon in the area! The place got pretty busy after 9am and I'm glad I got there early while it was still fairly quiet.

Love this Frothy Monkey! It feels much more laid back than some of the other locations I've gone to. Their sandwiches are fantastic and coffee and pastries always great!

Landry was attentive and pleasant without being pushy. Laid back like the location and the neighborhood. My avocado toast needed some salt and Dawn's bacon was as hard as a rock. So close to just right.
Well behaved dogs and children (really just dogs) are welcome. Great place to wait for the Chocolate Shop to open up.

We ate at the Franklin location when we were in town 3 years ago. DELICIOUS. We were staying 1 night in east Nashville during Christmas and were stoked to see a location near our airbnb. It was so delicious! 2 people in our party had a sausage bowl with greens and blackberries.. they loved it! I had the huevos rancheros… drool… our coffee drinks were amazing ( best decaf latte ever with macadamia milk!) The patio was lovely and servers very kind and accommodating. I will eat here every time we’re in Nashville!!! 10 stars!!!!
