Dr. Scruggs is simply the best. He's been my dentist for 20+ years and has always given me the best advice and service.
2/1/24 Dr. Scruggs detected a shadow beneath an old filling on an x-ray. This indicated decay beneath the filling. Replacement needed. The procedure was quick and almost painless. Done perfectly and professionally.

It was my first time to come to Dr Jonathan Scruggs' office. The office was clean and during this visit I found Dr Scruggs to be a professional person with enough knowledge to treat my teeth. Dr Scruggs spent a lot of time and gave adequate explanations on how to treat two teeth that I have problems with. I will definitely visit this respectable dentist to continue the treatment.

My experience yesterday with Dr. Scruggs' office is what I've come to expect over the years that I've been his patient. My appointment was for a six-month check-up. Everyone is extremely professional but they also treat you like a family member. Victoria is a very competent hygienist and does her work efficiently. Dr. Scruggs is thorough in his exam but also very gentle in his approach. Yesterday he made extra time for me and did a minor procedure so I wouldn't have to come back for a second visit. Cathy, the office manager, keeps the records straight and is knowledgeable about insurance issues which is so helpful. A really fine experience all the way around. Thanks so much!

Dr Scruggs is a fabulous dentist. I am so lucky to have him as my dentist. He has expertly fixed my chipped tooth and a cracked tooth simply and quickly. I travel an hour and a half to see Dr. Scruggs and would not consider going anywhere else for dental care. He is the BEST! As I have gotten older and require more complicated care with crowns, root canals, and such, I have come to truly appreciate Dr. Scruggs ability to practice dentistry as an art form. Crowns are always a perfect fit. I also appreciate feeling like I have a say so in my care. Dr. Scruggs will tell me when I have potential problems.....like a cracked tooth. and what it will lead to without treatment....but if I am not ready to do any dental work on the tooth, I do not feel pressured to do so. The office atmosphere is always pleasant and the staff is very helpful. I feel very fortunate to have found such an outstanding and caring dentist.....certainly worth the extra miles to get to his office for dental care!

Had to have a crown replaced and Dr Scruggs did a wonderful job. He is very kind, caring and completely dedicated, excellent at explaining things. I enthusiastically recommend him if you are searching for a dentist. His office is just off I-440 and has its own parking.

My family and I were looking for more of a "small town" dentist in Nashville and we found it at Dr. Scruggs. Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere here. Dr. Scruggs is knowledgeable and kind, and I was most impressed by how he didn't try to push any unnecessary dental work on us. Never too busy here. They are in a pretty old office building now, but it's easy to drive to and theres always plenty of parking. I take the back way in from Belmont Avenue and it's super easy, even in rush hour traffic.
