Jenn (I think it was Jenn) was a fantastic instructor for our 11 am class yesterday! My work bestie and I finally got our candle making class conversations out of the office! So much fun, so interactive and informative about candle making! Will definitely be coming back!

Thank you Paddy Wax for a wonderful hour of laughing and making our very own specialty candles. Everyone enjoyed our time together and our time with YOU. For anyone interested, you choose the scent and the container and go through a supported candle-making experience. Plus, you get a discount on anything purchased that day. It takes about an hour and then you pick up 3 hours later (or anytime over the next few weeks).

We were celebrating my cousins birthday and had a great experience pouring our custom candles here. We received a friendly greeting when we came in and the whole process was unique and fun. The scents and vessels for the candles were very high quality and it was a lot of fun just to pick out what you wanted for your candle. The store front was cute and there’s plenty of parking available. The host was awesome and explained everything in great detail. We even tipped him at the end. Overall we had a great experience and can’t wait to use our custom made candles! Just a heads up for people who are sensitive to fragrances. The smell is quite strong in there because of all the different scents so be prepared for that.

We celebrated Galentine’s Day and it was so much fun. So many nice scents to choose from and the vessels were so neat how you could repurpose them. I chose the one that could later be used as a planter or you can get 10$ refills on Fridays. The Class was a wonderful experience and would do it again. Great Candle Making Class with Kat, our Chandler. We also brought our Candle of the Month candle vessels in to be refilled. Great experience. Chris was also so friendly and helpful. Paddywax is the only candle I will ever purchase.

Had a great time! The first time came out with 2 GFs and was a great experience! You can order soft or hard drinks for the class. Our instructor, "Our friend," did a great job instructing us on making our candle ... every time I lite my candle, it will remind me of our trip together! Cheers

Chris was an absolutely wonderful chaperone through the whole candle-making process. Funny, friendly, informative. Our group was a bit slow moving and Chris was patient and very helpful. Will look forward to coming back next time we're in town.

We celebrated our friend’s birthday at the Paddywax Candle Bar Headquarters for a class and it was so fun! Our instructor, Blake, was hilarious and made the experience even better! It was a fun time with friends. Definitely recommend!

We had a blast!! Tons of beautiful options for vessels. Lots of fun scents. Blake is so sweet and made it more fun. Highly recommend. We already want to come back.

I’ve been here twice now and I must say the candle making experience is so much fun and each instructor has been engaging and helpful. I’m excited for the next round of seasonal scents!

Wonderful experience! Organized, fun, and easy to follow along. You do have to wait 3 hours for your candle to be made, which may require you to visit again depending on when your appointment is.

Signed my daughter & several of her friends to make candles for her birthday & they had a wonderful time! Staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. Would recommend this place to anyone!

My husband and I did the group class. Before we started, we got a boozy popsicle then headed over to the wall of vessels and scents. All the scents are grouped by fragrance; such as fresh, sweet, woody, and spice. This made it easy to pair two candles of different scents but in the same scent family together. The instructors were very helpful and informative. Both of our candles came out perfectly and we can not wait to recieve them in the mail!

The workshop was such a fun experience! We want to make this an at least annual thing. It was very difficult to choose a scent because nearly all of them smelled great. They also have plenty of nice vessels to choose from. The employees that were leading the workshop were all friendly, professional, and patient. The teacher led the class in a way that was easy to follow.

Tip: get there early and pick out a scent before the workshop starts, because you won’t have time to smell them all during the workshop.

COVID days tip: don’t plan to use the mask you wear to the workshop afterward. It’ll smell like 100 different scents from when you sample all the scents. I was so glad I had an extra mask in my car.

My friends and I attended the Teacher Appreciation workshop last week and had an incredible time. BreAnna was such an amazing host and made the whole process so enjoyable and fun for everyone. She was knowledgeable, funny, and relatable. It was a much needed night of self-care and laughs with good company. Thank you, BreAnna, for all of your hard work!! The whole team at Paddywax was great and we will definitely be back.

Update: I've been burning the candle often and am pleased with the longevity and superior fragrance.

Fun night out doing a low-stress activity. I guess the most stressful thing is maybe deciding the container and scent. It was fun. The facility is beautiful! We enjoyed it. The cost included everything and you can refill the vessel for a discount. That's pretty cool.

We went for candle making happy hour and had the best time. Our instructor was great, and my daughters are all so proud of their candles. They turned out beautiful. Would highly recommend!

Fun and trendy place downtown Gulch area, to make candles to remember our experience in Nashville. Friendly and helpful staff. Scents were lovely to smell while we chose. I chose the Whiskey + Smoke scent. All around great experience. Candles were ready in the time we were told they would be for pick up. Thank you again

If you're considering taking the instructor-led candle pouring class at Paddywax, DO IT!
Our instructor (Brianna, IIRC) was put together, knowledgeable, warm, and so much fun! Her presentation skills were top notch, she didn't skip a beat, and her sense of humor slapped. My mom and I had the best time.
I was also very impressed by the facility, and by the company's mission of sustainability. Every candle 'vessel' you could choose from had a dual purpose, or could be brought back to the shop to fill up again!
10/10 would recommend as a date, or an activity for a birthday, mother's day, gift, or bachelorette group.

I had the best time at Paddywax the other night! Kat and Linda were both great instructors and made the process fun and easy! Great experience!!!
