French's Shoes & Boots

Sometimes the best places are on side streets. This is two levels with boots, some cowboy hats, and jeans on ground floor. The place looks small from the street but is very deep so there’s quite a lot to choose from. And in the well lit high ceiling basement they have tons more boots all neatly organized by size and some discount areas. There is also a whole shoe area in the basement as well. Quality is high and there is a lot of variety from formal to playful.

Basement has great prices. Older boot styles. If you find something you like in the basement you will get a great deal. However if you are looking for current fashion and better choices stay upstairs (first floor) better choices but higher prices.

Staff was super helpful. One of the staff helping us was wearing some boots my wife saw and loved. They looked for a while and was able to find my wife the same boots after looking through old stock. Great experience. The store was a great find after looking in many stores. Everyone was very friendly.

Absolutely the best boot buying experience ever. Chris Salin recommended me and it did not disappoint. Chris and the tall gentleman with the red beard had me in and out within 20 minutes. I simply told them what I wanted and needed and I was on the way with 4 Christmas gifts that hit the spot with everyone.

This store has the biggest collection I have seen.

Went to French's Nov 5th to look for a pair of boots. Didn't have the ones I was looking for, but had a huge selection. The staff was awesome. Very friendly. Highly recommend for your boot needs!!!!

Emily was so helpful in helping me pick out the perfect pair of boots! She also gave me tips on where to go while I was there on vacation.

This store has a wide selection of cute boots (mens and womens). Additionally, there was a small selection of sandals, belts, clothes and hats. They have a bargain selection in the basement but the boots on the main floor were the cheapest (by like 50 dollars) in comparison to other boot stores downtown Nashville. Glen was wonderful! He helped package the boots, carried them to the front, answered all my questions, got various sizes and was beyond patient with my indecisive self. Highly recommend this store!

Absolutely the best customer service! Even in the midst of so many tourists crowding into the store and asking questions they gave me personal attention and assisted me with purchasing the next boots for my need. The quality of the products offered was great offering many different price ranges, styles and features. Prices were very competitive as well. I priced a pair at their store and then at the maker’s own store and they had the best price. Then they went out of their way to help me deal with my transportation situation as well. I know where I will buy my next pair of boots and in the meantime will enjoy these.

Finally found the boots I was looking for at a great price. A special shout out to Shea! She help me just what I was looking for.

I went to buy boots because my shoes were not going to last me all day. I bought some and put them on outside, and walked back to the bar my friends were at. The boots felt off and I double check the sizes and I had 2 different sizes. I went back and they were so helpful. They couldn’t find the other matches to the boots so they tried stretching the smaller one to see if that helped. They told me it that didn’t work to come back. I have it about 30 minutes or so and decided to go back before anything happened to them and go ahead and exchange them. The woman who helped me (I think the owner) was so nice and patient trying to help me find another pair of boots in the middle of a super busy Friday afternoon. They have a great selection of boots, clothes, and accessories that all look amazing. But their customer service is even better. Everyone working there were so nice and helpful to everyone.

This store is amazing! We recently took a trip to downtown Nashville and of course had to get my daughter some pink sparkly cow girl boots. Well they lasted about 3 days until the glitter started coming off. Because Nashville was a stop through we didn’t get a chance to stop on the way home. So we reached out and Rachel responded. The situation was rectified immediately and the level of customer service and professionalism will make this a regular stop for years to come. There are a lot of boot options on the strip, but if you want a company that stands behind their products look no further! Thank you French’s!

Absolutely excellent store!!! The staff was super friendly and helpful and were very knowledgeable about their product! The store has a pretty good range of selection on boots and hats and also have a clearance section! I was looking for a pair of boots no more than $130 and found some beautiful boots my size less than $90!!!!
All out great store, especially compared to the others on Broadway Street, all of those were way too crowded, way over priced, and the staff aren’t very helpful at all...

This place was amazing. Not a fan of boots, but when in Rome.. The staff was wonderful. Shane White, Destiny, and JT all made my shopping experience one to remember! Thank all of you for adding to my Nashville experience, and showing the world that nice people still exist. =)
