Cactus Flower

This salon is friendly with small-town warmth and female camaraderie. I look forward to every time I come here! The shampoos are relaxing with oldies playing the background. Been going to Kristi for almost 9 years now. It's worth it to book far in advance for her, and it's worth what I pay!

Every time Kristi asks me what I want done (even though it's often the same thing), because she just wants to make sure she knows what I want. Great communication skills!

She asks a lot of open-ended questions to start conversation, which is great (because secretly we all want to talk about ourselves, don't we?). Often, she asks questions like "How are the kids?", "How is your job?", but the whole time those scissors are moving.

At the end, she always asks me if it came out how I wanted it, or if we need to change it. She is supportive when I want to try something new, and honest with me if I ask for something that won't look good on my head. I've learned to trust her advice, because in the end, I always love what she does. She is friendly, fast, and skilled!

From Elisa at the front desk making sure my needs are met while waiting, to Kristi coloring and cutting my hair in a style that makes me jealous of myself. I appreciated after each time I’d give her info on what I like and I don’t like, she thanked me and said all the information helps her. Kristi has been in the business for many years, but is young and up on the latest cutting/coloring techniques. I left with a bounce in my hair AND in my step!

Tyler gave me one of the best haircuts I've had in years! They have great products as well. I finally found a great salon in the area!

I always get great service and Christina does an amazing job with hair color and cut. She is also very efficient. I would give Cactus Flower more stars if I could.

Cactus Flower is the best salon I have ever been to. They were able to make my hair look EXACTLY the way I wanted it. That is not something that happens too often as I am sure you know. Barbara Sparkman is the one that did my hair and she is simply wonderful. The salon is beautifully decorated in a Hill Country decor that is inviting, warm and elegant. I will never go anywhere else as long as I am here.
What I found to be crazy was that people from Houston drive in to get their hair done with Barbara. She is booked up quite a bit in advance, but well worth the wait. Beauty Realized is right on!

My prior hairstylist moved and that left me looking for my next hair styling place and I found this with Kim Jordan at Cactus Flower! She is AMAZING and saved my hair from another stylist orange nightmare. Kim is friendly, professional and knew exactly what to do. Because of Kim and the friendly people there I'll be going back.

Love Cactus Flower! Kristi and the gals do a fablous job! Everyone is so friendly and accommodating! I have natural curly hair and Kristi does an amazing job every time I have an appointment. Highly recommend Cactus Flower as you will not be disappointed!
