Great experience getting our marriage license on a Friday morning. Arrived about 10 minutes before they opened and waited in a line, but once open we were in and out in 20 minutes. Thank you Nash for taking care of us. Excellent service!

I needed a duplicate title for my car and I was in and out today in less than 5 minutes. It cost me nothing. Kudos to the security guard at the front door directing the pedestrian traffic. She saved me enormous time and patience. God bless her! The gentleman behind the counter was extremely polite and helpful. It was the best experience I've ever had at the clerk's office in Nashville.

Seriously easy. Walked in at 8:02am. Registered 3 cars. Walked out at 8:18am. Fast. Friendly. Easy.

Each experience with this department is above professional, engaging and approachable. Ms. Rhonda and Ms. Majorie are exceptional employees.

Got my TN license plate. Got there 5 minutes before it opened and was 3rd in line. As soon as it opened I was helped by Kevin. He was very friendly and very helpful! I was in and out very quickly!! They were very efficiently run and seemed to serve everyone very quickly. Would recommend this to anyone!

The office is well maintained and there was no wait. Cookie at window nine was extremely professional and courteous in helping me navigate the process. If everyone that works there is as efficient as Cookie, that’s why there’s no wait.

The Davidson Clerk office is at lower level of the Howard Office Building. If you're getting a duplicate title, tell the security officer. You don't need to line up, you'll be directed to the correct area.

Had a good experience with the lady in charge of duplicate titles. She asked me to get in touch with my bank so they can fax a notarized discharge of lien on my car title.

Lines are long, but you gotta do what you gotta do. Very nice people. Clean environment. Friendly and helpful guard on duty.

I’m new to the area and my vehicle registration was actually due to be renewed this month. Off I headed to the Davidson County Clerk in dread. However, to my surprise, parking was convenient and it was an easy walk into the building. I got in, and there were about 10 people ahead of me. A wonderful gentleman worker began questioning the people in line questioning their reason for being here and he directed them in the right direction or confirmed that they were in the correct place and that they would get them to a window as soon as possible. I was in line for under 10 minutes. When I got to the window, I was kindly greeted by China, she was cheerful and very efficient. I had my new registration in hand within 5 minutes and off I went. Fabulous service.

I came here to get registered in-state, and despite the fact that it was middle of lunch hour, I was in and out in 20 minutes. It's a nice little brick building campus, the office is big and pleasant, the people are nice, there's plenty of parking, and it's very efficient. There was also a taco truck in the parking lot, so hey, nice bonus. Best experience I've ever had trying to get registration renewed.

One of the best-run agencies in Tennessee. They're often backed up with lines, but they work fast and even their phone service is excellent! I especially like the Howard School location. The Tennessee Secretary of State's office should take lessons from Davidson Co Clerk's office! Then it wouldn't take your whole day to get a driver's license!!!

Came in to get our marriage license and was in and out within 15 minutes, same situation when I came back to get it validated. All the workers were so attentive and friendly and it was easy to find and park.

I am new to the state and went in to apply for my title and registration in Tennessee. The process was quick and efficient! This office has great customer service and a friendly staff. China, who helped me, was fantastic and patient with all of my questions. I got there early in the morning and was out in about 15-20 minutes.

I went to get my registration and license plate since I just moved here from out of town. I ran over on my lunch break. Took less than 20 minutes from start to finish and there was quite a line when I got there. It was out the door. To my delight, it moved rather quickly. Less than $100 to get my new plate and registration and my new title is coming in the mail in two to three weeks.

Sheila Dickerson is amazing in the marriage license department! She is the most helpful, kind and patient person! She truly made our experience getting married so much better and we enjoyed our time with her very much!!

One of the best experiences I’ve had here. I had to transfer a title and renew my registration and Denice Hodges was incredibly helpful! Whole process took less than 30 minutes including the wait. Was shocked how efficient and friendly everyone was. Thank you Denice!

Very nice staff. Was in and out in 15 minutes. Make sure to have the documents needed ready and it will be easy. They do accept electronic proof if you show them on your phone according to security guard

You can use the kiosk outside the door if you wish to pay by credit and you're just renewing. You don't have to wait in line, but they will need your email and phone number. The "dot" button is barely visible, over on the right side. The guard was very helpful!
