Massive park located at the edge of Houston/ Pearland (Between FM 865-Cullen and Beltway at Scott Street)

Includes several pavilions and covered areas for eating/sitting. 🗑 Trash cans and ♻ recycle bins are available in many areas. Sitting swings near pond and park areas.

Clean. Empty. And so big. I take my 4 dogs to train here. They have a dog park, a theater, play grounds, picnic tables, trails, tennis. Its worth going. They have a cute little pond

Love the gravel running trail. Wish there were more like it around. Lots of open space. Not a ton in the shade department though.

I love running along this section of Tom Bass park. It's very scenic, adjacent to the golf course and has a couple of duck ponds, a dog park, tons of beautiful trees, a great walking/running trail several play grounds, family gathering areas equip with BBQ pits & restrooms, a huge hill and a huge outdoor theater. There is even a wheelchair accessible ramp in one of the family gathering areas so more of the park can be enjoyed by the family member that needs this. Even with all of that, my absolute favorite thing is the running trail material. It's so easy on my joints since it is not asphalt or concrete that I can go for a daily run without injuries. And section one encompasses such a large area, it makes it easy to exercise and maintain social distance. I think this section of the park is a hidden gem that others should explore more. By the way, I've seen two armadillos, tons of robins, a family of six deer, ducks and a crane. So you'll never know what you'll see while you're there.

The family and I went this past weekend for basketball and tennis. The park was not packed and we were able to play on the court without interruption.

There was a yoga class and some other outdoor activities and everyone was teally nice. There's also a really big dog park woth plenty of room to for the animal to play and feel safe.

The trail is gravel and was a nice walk after we cooled off.

Great park and will probably go monthly.

Very diverse park. You can do almost anything you can think of as far as outdoor activities. It is very busy on Saturdays, so come early for a good spot. The tennis courts are great, it's rare to find free and open courts in this area.
Lots of police presence. Very safe here.

Go running here all the time. Track is asphalt not soft. Very little of it is shaded. Still the park has an amphitheatre, lots of pavilions; a golf course, a demonstration area and is very well maintained. There are several playgrounds for the kids and a nature walk on the other side of Cullen. Well done.

New photos of Tom Bass Regional Park - Section 1. A new trail has been built.
It's a winding trail with nice surroundings. Very enjoyable. And don't forget to let bring your furry friends to the park's dog park.

Huge place! It has a fishing lake in the entrance then in the farthest back, has workout stations + trails to bike or run/walk, two huge dog parks, has alot off open space for you to workout and not have to bump into people, has an semi steep mini hill next to the auditorium in the far back near a the little lake. I use the stairs a workout along with the hill going up and down. I love this place. It's so peaceful and I've caught fish here before as well. :)

One of my favorite places to run. Nice lake loop with some elevation, on the back trail there are fun bike ramps to ride/run around on. The amphitheatre is nice to check out as well.

I love it because of the natural beauty of it. Just today i saw an armadillo at the park for the first time in real life. I never saw one inreal life before only pictures of them so seeing one in real life was pretty awesome! For me anyway. I would have taken a picture of it but it went back into the tall grass to quick before i could take a picture of it. It also has covered playgrounds for the kids to play on and dog parks for big dogs and one for lttle dogs to. You can also go fishing there in designate areas. It also has golf courses open to the public and volleyball and basketball to. It also has picnic areas some of them even have bbq pits that u can use and i don't mean the little ones that u see at hermann park but full size ones like the kinds u buy at walmart or home depot and stores like that. It is an awesome place for small and big kids a like. I highly recommend this place for family's. I personally love it!

Nice park, there are lots of walking trails, an off leash dog area, a lake, and a golf course (not sure how much it is to play since I haven't played).
