The Bore and Barrel

I was left a Winchester repeating riffle when my parents passed away a couple years ago. It was missing the end of the stock and had not been used in I don’t know when. I brought it in to be cleaned and checked out. They did a great job, replaced the missing piece and test fired it to make sure everything worked. So happy to have this piece of western history back to working condition, so I can give it to one of my kids.

Wow, what a gem of a store located in the historic downtown area of Krum, across from the police station. Walking in the front door, you feel like you've been transported into a different time! They have displays of cool antique and newer guns as well as a super selection of unique gifts that are Texas-made & from around the globe. The owner is a certified gunsmith, and he takes his craft seriously. He buys, sells, fixes, and restores firearms. Just spending a few minutes with him gave me some helpful knowledge about the history and design of guns. It's definitely a one-of-a-kind shop worth checking out!

Whether you live close to the Denton area or further, it is worth the drive! Especially with Father’s Day coming Up! Bore And Barrel is A gem Right in The middle Of North Texas! Also, they have a great selection of teas, chocolates along with wild-west memorabilia. The old town of Krum is literally like stepping into The Bonnie and Clyde movie and an exciting place for history buffs with many original buildings, including one of the banks that the two bandits robbed during the days of the Great Depression.
