I can’t begin to describe the phenomenal care my family received from Jeter & Son following the loss of my father. I honestly don’t know what we would have done without their knowledge and guidance over the past few weeks. What was one of the hardest days we’ve had to endure as a family turned out to be filled with so much peace and care. I've had both family and friends tended to at Jeter and Son Funeral Home over the past 20+ years. Most recently I had them cremate a homeless friend who had no living relatives. She was treated with utmost respect and her cremains were given to me in a box in a beautiful and elegant maroon velvet bag with matching tasseled pull tie. To some the little things don't mean much but to others they mean a lot. When it comes to the last time you'll ever see a loved one you'll understand how every single detail is important. Burial day, Tim Jeter stood tall brazing the cold 27⁰ weather and warming our hearts as we said farewell to our mom at a grave side service. We realized he went far beyond expectations, staying entire service.
Our family was speechless with the kindness and upmost care we received.

I recently lost my sister and I was in charge of her funeral arrangements. Leslie was our funeral director at Jeter and Son. She was very professional and helped us from day one as we walked in without an appointment. My family was pleased with all her help and her dedication and passion for her job. She went above and beyond to have my sisters funeral just like we wanted. She explained everything in detailed and was with us throughout all this process.

We had a recent death in the family. Our loved one wanted direct burial (no embalming or service at the funeral home). This kind of interment is not a “money maker” for funeral homes. We were quoted a very reasonable fee by phone with no attempts to up-charge or assess hidden fees when we met in person to finalize the details. Every person greeted us with heartfelt condolences and genuine warmth. My family’s experience with Jeter and Son was very positive at a difficult time. I called four other funeral homes for pricing and Jeter and Son were the most sincere, straightforward, and affordable. All aspects of the process from preparation to burial were done with respect and dignity. It’s never easy to talk about funeral preparations, but we should all have a plan in place to make arrangements easier on our family during a time of grief and crisis. If all you have is a reputable place to call in your time of need that alone can be a big help. I feel confident recommending any of their staff as resources for funeral pre-planning or immediate assistance.

My mother recently passed and the service I received was amazing, everyone I ran across was very respectful and comforting. I appreciate everyone, Tim, Dennis, Erin, Alma, and Carl. You all are truly amazing. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! You all made this process that much easier for me.

My family and I have asked for Jeter & Son's service and help twice all within the matter of a month. One was for my Grandmother whom already had prearrangement's set and the other was for my Aunt that had no arrangements set. I can honestly say they handled both situations the same and made both situations extremely smooth. The beautiful thing about working with them is that they understand and care about your feelings and handle your unfortunate task with the utmost care and respect. Furthermore, they listen to your needs and will try to accommodate you the best they can. It is a family own business, but this is a big asset because they treat you like family, when you most need it.
