Chicken Express

I was pleasantly surprised by chicken express. I have always driven by but I never stopped. Gooood lawd this chicken was amazing 🐔. Had my wanting more. You better believe next time in the area I'm stopping by again . I highly highly recommend.

I love chicken express. It's my favorite place to go for good fried chicken 😍. Every time I've gone, the customer service is always great. They treat you so well. And I especially like that on Tuesdays, senior adults get a discount! You don't see that often at any other fast food drive-in. I recommend this place for good good fried chicken.

Super clean and fast. I had food in my hand just a couple minutes after I ordered. Even brought it to our table. I was super impressed how clean everything was. From the floor to the lights. The staff was super nice and attentive. Food was great also.

We always have great service at this location, it’s our favorite location due to the excellent customer service, the food is always fresh and hot & the wait time is very short & they always apologize for keeping customers waiting for their order if it’s busy. My only complaint is that Chicken Express seems to have started serving crinkle cut fries. I’m not sure why. I wonder if it’s a permanent change or if it was due to a fry shortage & they used these in a pinch but it’s definitely not something I expected & I really hope they switch back because their fries were the best!! Now I will hafta order something else if this continues because these are not the same & don’t have that Chicken Express flavor we all know and love soooo Chicken Express….PLEASE go back to serving the same fries as before!

Always delicious. Chicken tenders are nice and fresh. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
They are very nice people who work there too. Usually give you an extra strip or two .

They have the best tea. I always either get chicken tenders or gizzards. There are jalapeno poppers are delicious as well..

Always clean and love their tenders, both spicy and regular, mash potatoe is great.

Good food. A little expensive. Had to wait on the fish but it was cooked fresh and was delicious.

For some reason it's taken me awhile to try them. Last year was my first and it's my go to place now!! Not just the chicken but the sides!! They don't skimp!! All staff is always pleasant!! What more could you ask for!! Except a chicken sandwich!!!??? LOL. Very good. Thanks again!!!

Thank you to Amanda working in the window she ate couldn't have gotten any good chicken without her and the rest of the staff, and then allowing us to change our order as much as we needed.

My son and I stopped in to eat and unwind from a day of working. Was a totally pleasant experience. Food was perfect and tea is always good here also. Great teamwork at this location.

Chicken Express is one of the best places to get fried chicken tenders! They have good size tenders, and even if they do not they will give you one or two extra to make up for a smaller tender. The tenders come with cream gravy that is excellent. They also have a variety of sides. Our favorites are the green beans which are Italian style, the mashed potatoes and okra. I like their ice tea, especially during happy hour at $.50 which I believe is 2 to 4 PM but check that out. If you order the express tenders it comes with a biscuit or a roll and gravy but that’s all, you have to order combo if you want a side and drink. If you live in new Braunfels they often have coupons in a mailer that we use. We recommend Chicken Express! I also know that they are community minded!

Their food is fresh and delicious. The employees are fast, professional, and courteous. My order is always perfect.
