Best place to shop in New Braunfels for health & wellness. This place is Jam packed with amazing stuff. You would never think looking from the outside it has such a variety of high quality amazing items we all need to take us up a few notches. I was surprised they had such a great choice of CBD stuff too. Their smoothie & shake bar is great. I asked for a recommendation and was very pleased. I added a few sticks of quality licorice which I had not found anywhere else, and I was set. This place is a hidden gem and it should not be. Tell all your friends and they too will be amazed.

Love this family owned Business... Local, kind, knowledge, and they can order any product or herb that they do not have in stock. Highly recommend. Greatest honest people!

I was in a hurry, one day, and stopped by
to grab some items that were on sale that week. A young girl helped me locate all the items I had circled in the magazine flyer, so I could get out of there quickly. And even had suggestions on organic wines 🍷 they carry.

Love this local spot! They carry items that I otherwise would have to drive into San Antonio to find. Staff is always kind and helpful and the smoothie bar is yummy. Fair pricing for the quality stock here for sure.

I think those below (calling you out Kyle) are likely bringing in YOUR attitude and lacking ability to adjust that not everyone in Texas is conservative or just like you. I’m white, didn’t feel ostracized at all. Also… It’s perfectly OK to be progressive, seeking things outside of the “norm” (whatever “normal” really means at this stage, it’s all about perspective) But those of us who don’t march to your drum Kyle, should not have to subscribe to your way to help you feel more comfy, where everything is about you. Ok my mission here with Kyle is done, now onto what’s really important…

It’s been difficult to find what is easy to get to at frequency in Oregon and in Colorado, so this was an Oasis. The options are good for a small store. I’d like to see more produce but understandably difficult to have in a store this size. I love that they carry the local roasters, the local bone broth company, the local honey, etc etc.

MORE of this in the Texas hill country please!

I had a wonderful experience in this store. The dark-haired lady named Joni is exceptionally knowledgeable and spent a good deal of time explaining products to me. All the employees were nice and friendly. They did get a little busy, but I noticed the employees did their best to talk with everyone who needed assistance. Lovely store.

I really enjoy shopping at For Goodness Sake Natural Food store. I have used this store for many years and I always find what I want there. The staff is great and helpful all the time. Joni has helped me more often than most of the other sale people. She is always nice and try very hard to answer all the questions I have. I like their rewards program. It takes a little while to get $25 but at least it is something. I also enjoy all their free magazines and the senior newspaper. It is a great store!!!

This place is the best!! We moved from a larger city and I was really nervous to not have access to things I would normally grab at whole foods. I've been able to find everything I need here and being able to support local. An absolute must for all of your supplements and alternative products. I also love their fresh juices and teas! Staff is really knowledgeable and helpful as well!

Great local shop for a great variety of natural products ranging from personal care, small home decor, cleaning products, supplements, teas, beer/wine/soda, canned and jarred items and local meat, eggs and veggies. There is also a smoothie bar! I have never tried the smoothies here, but Everytime I shop, I see multiple people order at the smoothie bar window. I have even ordered a few specialty items here too. The staff are friendly and helpful.

I would like to right a wrong about this store. Someone said in a review they were here a few months back at the store and nobody was wearing masks. This is Comal County and back then each county made up it's own minds whether to wear masks or not. For Goodness Sake was not in violation of any law like the reviewer was very chessilly trying to imply. . As soon as the county made it mandatory everyone promptly started wearing masks. They also put a plug in for Whole Foods. There isn't a Whole Foods for quite a few miles around here. I go to For Goodness Sake about once a week. The people are friendly and are very quick to helping you get what you want. I rely on them because they are very knowledgeable about herbs and supplements so they can get you the right product for the right needs. Another big thing is they are the only place I know of that sell herbs in bulk. If you read anyone make negative comments about this store they are probably the competition. Very weak competition.

Friendly and helpful customer service. If this store does not have something you want ask to see if they can order it for you. This store carries Justin’s Peanut Butter Cups. I cannot consume peanuts so asked if they would order Justin’s Almond Butter Cups. I was called two days later that the item had arrived in store. Thank you so much!

Friendly knowledgeable staff. Huge selections. Owners are amazing people. Shopping here, especially during Covid is an absolute joy. Definitely try one of their amazing fresh smoothies.

This little store is an absolute treasure much like New Braunfels itself! Not only do they have the products that can keep us all healthy but the staff is both knowledgeable and courteous. Luanne is awesome about sharing feed back from other customers if I ever tell her I am considering a new product.

The store is immaculate, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. And the wine department, my personal favorite, consists of high quality, carefully curated, organic options. Pair it with organic chocolate, and, voila, dinner is served!

I head to For Goodness Sake regularly for my healthcare supports. Their staff are incredibly knowledgeable and always willing to answer questions and provide suggestions. Especially during COVID, I'm so happy to have a place in town I trust and rely on.

I love this store! The selection is amazing and the people here are always willing to help me find what I need. Anyone who is health conscious and lives or visits the New Braunfels area needs to know about this place. They have amazing fresh fruit smoothies as well! YUM!
