My daughter purchased the wedding cake cup cake. What I found really cute I was given a nickname for my order “Mrs Kookie Dough”lol The taste is creamy not dry in short it was Delicious. The staff is so nice and helpful. All your options are explained to you. Very welcoming and clean esthetic. I would recommend Kookie Haven to everyone.

Great place to fulfill your sweet tooth desires ... though limited variety of cakes and cookies but nothing short of the taste you need. I loved the interior, taste of every cake we tried. Strawberry square cake is their top highlight and most popular one...and it was indeed great.

That Red Velvet Cake is OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!! The smell when you in is intoxicating. The super friendly staff is very welcoming. I felt at home. The owners were very approachable. I love it here. I will be back.

Supporting another #BlackOwnedBusiness I went to Oak Cliff in Dallas and tried some amazing desserts from @kookiehaven . If you know me, you know I have a HUGE sweet tooth. Such a beautiful establishment with many delicious treats that will have you coming back for more. They have cakes, brownies, cookies, and so much more. Great customer service and friendly faces will be there to greet you. On this visit I tried a Wedding Cake Stuffer which consists of wedding cake baked into a sugar cookie with salted caramel icing and a caramel drizzle! Listen baby, I got my ENTIRE life with this dessert! I also tried the Turtle Brownie which is nothing to play with. You gotta try this place out and it's great to support them during these difficult times!

So I was first introduced to Kookie Haven at the 2018 Taste of Oak Cliff but I wasn't able to try any of their tasty products because they were ALL GONE. I then knew I had to go to the source and I'm so happy I did. There were so many choices that made it hard to choose but I did go with the Tuxedo square and it was so good. Will definitely be back. They also have vegan options during the week.

Very very sweet staff! They gave me tasty free samples . Amazing staff and amazing cookies! I love the atmosphere. The people there have kind souls. The cookies and cakes are delicious. A sweet little gem this place is... I was impressed by the overall ambience of Kookie Haven. Smiling faces and the staff was very informative regarding the menu. Great cookies place.

Everything about this place is fire.
The service and products are on point.
I ordered one cupcake and one cookie.
Honestly the cupcake was one of the best I've ever had, obviously the cookie was good too.

First time customer! I chose this place based on my craving for dessert and the fact they have maintained 5 star rating. I came to find out if it’s as good as people say. Coming in ready to be the one to say “aha”, I think the cake had something else in store for me. Drove 35mins for this. Here are my pics and review:

Cake:
I got the Carrot, Chocolate, Strawberry, Red Velvet, Italian Cream and Wedding cake. (Half a dozen) My best friend and I sat down with our forks to begin our taste test as soon as we got home. Each bite was magical, a burst of moist flavors that taste so fresh and rich. The icing is the perfect texture and tastes like the baking gods whipped them up themselves! Just as I thought it doesn’t get any better, they have elements of their flavor embedded in them like the carrot cake...has carrots. Omg. They were literally all amazing. I can’t even explain it, it tastes so good it’s like you just have to eat it to understand and 1 bite explains it all. To sum it up honestly. Whoever baked the cakes I had the afternoon of 7/17 made it with pure love ❤

Building:
The place is actually pretty nice in there like a rustic modern decor design and feel. Natural bright lights from the street but still cool in there. If not for COVID I would actually sit in there. A vibe

Employees:
They were all upbeat and very polite. They worked diligently and were attentive.

Overall, I am so HAPPY I promise I am that I drove 35 minutes, passed up all the other bakeries just to give you a try. You are my Dallas Favorite cake spot now, hands down! Keep this up.

Out and about. Had an impromptu tea party at Kookie Haven today with my precious #4 granddaughter. We enjoyed our treats (mm cookies and German chocolate cupcakes) and orange fantas. Everyone here is so inviting. Professionalism unmatched.

I came into town from Mississippi on my way to Fort Worth and this was the 1st place I stopped. The people in the bakery are always just warm and welcoming. I got the Wedding Cake, Strawberry, Italian Cream, and Chocolate. I fell in love with all the flavors. They were moist and the frosting had just the right amount of sweetness. Will definitely be coming back on my next trip to the DFW area.

I work at Frito Lay and was given two cookies for support of Black owned businesses, the cookie are so soft and sweet but not overly sweet got to be one of the best cookies I’ve had! no exaggeration. Waaaayy better than Tiffs Treats.

Absolutely in awe. I of course chose this bakery because of the impressive reviews, and let me tell ya, everyone is correct: this place is the best.
It was my fiancé’s 30th birthday on Saturday so earlier in the week I called in my order. The woman I talked to on the phone was one of the nicest people I’ve ever spoken to, and she made sure everything was correct before we hung up. The cake was perfect. I still have people asking me about it (German chocolate...oh my GOD)
Seriously y’all, if this place is near you, give it a try. I am so delighted and will be back.

DELICIOUS!!!! Great service! The owners are absolutely wonderful, very kind and down to earth! Blanca, is a very sweet person; almost as sweet as the desserts sold here!

As lovers of baked treats, this place absolutely hit the spot. I don't even like oatmeal raisin cookies, and I was grabbing for more. We went in half an hour before closing, and the lady was so patient and kind in explaining everything. The cupcakes were both so moist and all the flavors complimented each other very well.
We will for sure be back when we're in the area.

I ordered a cake for my Mom's birthday. The cake was beautiful and delicious. Was nice to have a cake that was light and not too sweet. They even gave me directions on how to serve the cake since we were not having it until the next day. When is the last time someone actually asked you when you were serving the cake to ensure the best outcome? Great cakes and good service.

We got a delicious chocolate cake a bit last minute and the folks at Kookie Haven couldn’t have been more accommodating!
We’re not from the Dallas area and arrived here for vacation. After a day of exploring the city we were running a little late but Kookie Haven was so kind and let us grab the cake a little after closing. It was one of the best cakes many of us had ever eaten and the customer service was superb. Highly recommend!

Ever since I tried the cupcakes here, I’ve never bought cake from any other place. The strawberry and red velvet flavors are my absolute favorite. You can tell these cakes are made with love, and the cookies are delicious as well! The owners are the sweetest! I highly, highly, highly, recommend trying this place. It will never disappoint!!!

I visited Kookie Haven after having a horrible experience at Crumble & Kettle. Thank God for Kookie Haven the young lady that answered the phone immediately made it better she was professional and voice exuded excitement for her job. I was able to grab some treats and they were AMAZING. I purchased 2 vegan options and 2 regular cupcakes. They were flavorful and moist. Will definitely go back and definitely recommend this bakery. Thanks for making my visit great!!!!
