Maskaras Mexican Grill

This was my first time at Maskaras restaurant. You walk in an order from the on screen menu (soooooo many choices). I selected a shrimp and beef fried taco, with a side of beans and rice.

Ordered a peach margarita, selected a seat (self seating), cleaned table and chairs . My husband also commented on how clean restaurants were. Food was delivered quickly, the shrimp taco had some heat and was delicious, the rice and beans (pinto) were amazing!! My husband said all he needed was a ham hock!!

They brought 3 sauces to the table and food was served with a side of pickle onions, radish and cilantro.

We will definitely be back again!

I’ve lived close by and didn’t have a clue this gem was there. From the moment you walk in the ambiance is just right. The owner, doing what he does best… Hosting his guests to the large array of delightful food. Looooved it!

Really cool place, and neat atmosphere and decor. Customer service was amazing and super friendly, even taking time to personally explain the menu since it was our first time. Also, this is legitimate Mexican food, not Tex-Mex so I was really happy to find this place! Will definitely be returning here soon

Had tacos from here. They were good only had two. I will check them out again. Cool wall decor.

This place is a gem! Voted best taqueria in DFW. The owner is so welcoming and nice. They also have the best variety of vegetarian options I have seen. Wow wow wow!!

The place is very particular and well decorated, and it must be mentioned that it is incredibly clean and tidy. The service was excellent. The food is a 5 star, all very tasty, the best taco for me is the shrimp zarandeado with cheese. The price is very good, I will surely return

Quant order at the counter Mexican restaurant that is Lucha Libre themed. Delicious tacos and chile relleno. The also have my favorite soup Carne en su jugo. It’s hard to find but worth the trip.

First time here and we will be back for more great food love the torta ahogada overall everything we order was good and the owner’s were great and really friendly we had a great conversation. Nice clean place with great food and good atmosphere.

Arguably my favorite spot for tacos in Dallas. The pork adobo taco at this place is one of the best tacos I’ve tried. It may be the best. The pork adobo taco is $1.99 and packed with incredible flavor. A must order taco when you go. Also get the tacos ahogados! Those were so good too.

Found this spot on D Magazine’s 2023 List of Top 50 Restaurants in Dallas. I’ve been back 3-4 times and will 100% keep returning!

I think this place/the chef was featured on Netflix or something.

We had the quesabirria tacos, camarón zarandeado tacos, sope de tinga and the taco eclipse (the empty plate) LOL

everything was perfectly seasoned, and their 3 sauces was incredible. i’ll be back to try more in the menu.

Rodolfo and Zulma are the best hosts and always have a contagious smile… and great customer service. Super environment, clean and bright and fun to be surrounded by the unique memorabilia. I’m thankful to live so close!

The first time I ate here, Mr Jimenez explained how the food is prepared & that they use many of his & his wife’s moms recipes. The food is amazing in flavor. The atmosphere was very welcoming and both Mr. Jimenez and his wife are very friendly! The entire place is immaculately clean. I’ve taken several friends & family to eat there. I love this place! I highly recommend Maskaras!

I had the opportunity to experience this wonderfully prepared and presented meal. The staff were all amazing! Authenticity is definitely present in this place! Please try it! You will not be disappointed! The margaritas we also a treat to be treasured!

We went yesterday and today it's all we could talk about. Our family loved eating here. Very delicious authentic Mexican food and great prices. Service was wonderful. We highly recommend the burger burrito 🌯 😋 Everything was wonderful but this burrito was "the bomb" 😆

Came yesterday while I was visiting friends in Dallas. This place is definitely a place you would want to bring people over to see what good food Dallas has to offer. I had the quesabirrias and it tasted so authentic. Staff is all very helpful and courteous, and the owner is Rodolfo Jimenez which was a huge Mexican actor back then. He took our order and attended us to our needs and even let me take a pic with him. Definitely a must whenever I plan to visit again, specially if you’re a fan of la lucha libre!

First time and it won’t be the last. Clean restaurant. Service was excellent. Food was decadent. We moved here from LA 5 years ago and it’s been hard to find California style Mexican food. This is a top 5 in the area. Quesabirria tacos, street tacos de tinga Y carnitas, tacos ahogados are odd at first but once it hits your lips - magnificent. Little sweet, little spicy, lots excellent. Will definitely be back! Gracias!

Found this place from a Nexflix documentary. Amazing food, wonderful atmosphere. It's definitely worth the trip!

Really great food. You can tell the owner is very proud of his restaurant and walks the floor to ensure everything is great. Tried a few items and everything was good.

Wow! We came the Saturday after thanksgiving. The service and food was outstanding!! Had birria tacos and Queso’ and chips. Everything was incredible! I’ll make the 30 min drive again for sure.

Soooo delicious! The menu is easy to read with a variety of Jalisco style food selections. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They were also practicing pandemic safety protocols with 6ft apart when ordering as well as limited seating to reduce the capacity to keep everyone safe. Overall our selections were savory, fresh and very filling as they don't skimp on the ingredients. My kids ordered 5 tacos each, expecting to be equivalent to 3 at other restaurants and had to pack some up to go home. :) We will continue to return and so happy to see them still here during the pandemic.
