Very good and friendly customer service. Inventory is good beyond comprehension, several trips needed to see everything they have in stock unless you spend several hours shopping. Top quality woodworking supplies and materials. Highly recommend going here. Location is also fantastic as there is also a Northern tool next door to go to afterwards lol

Absolutely fantastic group of people working at Rockler! My friend and I needed help with an odd project: creating wooden implements for musical sound effects. The guys here took great care of this project. Terry was especially generous with his time, creativity, and exquisite woodworking skills. He actually created what we described to him on the spot. We are really grateful to Terry and everyone at Rockler. A stellar group of helpful, kind, and skilled people!

If I have to ask, “how much is this?”, then I prolly can’t afford it!
I love this place, all the folks working here are kind and helpful. Even if someone doesn’t know how to help you, they’ll punch you to someone who can or take you to someone who can. Great TEAM!!

I am changing my review to five stars because these people deserve it. I had an unpleasant experience and the nice folks at Rockler reached out and turned it into a welcoming one. The store manager Mr. Gebhardt met with me and showed me the store and all they have to offer to all woodworkers alike. They offer classes and demonstrations and are trying to add more. Rockler even works hard to improve on woodworking through Rockler Innovation products. I would definitely recommend them for all of your woodworking needs, big or small.

The store manager (Mr. Gebhardt) of this location reached out to me to understand the reason for my review. He was a very nice and sincere person who assured me of training and policies to help avoid situations like the one I had. He made me sincerely believe this was a misunderstanding and he has agreed to meet with me to personally to assure me of his staff's welcoming and helpful nature.

If you're not white don't go. Went trying to get simple tools because there were signs about a tool sale. Immediately upon entry there were nothing but ugly looks from both shoppers and employee's. It's an all around ugly feeling trying to go in there.

My favorite Rockler store! Very friendly and helpful staff, great selection of woodworking tools and accessories. Great place for hobby woodworkers or professionals. They have stuff you cannot find anywhere else.

I went to buy hardware and wood to make floating shelves. Multiple employees assisted me which is rare anywhere nowadays. But the most impressive thing they did was cut my african mahogany wood down to the exact size in all dimensions as well as planed the wood. I did not realize they offered these services, but its worth a million dollars in my eyesight! Thanks to the Rockler Team in Garland.

I love this place! I'm in there about once a week (sometimes more). They almost always greet me when I come in, and someone usually asks if I need any help finding anything. And if I DO need help,. they walk me to the item rather than just pointing and saying, "It's over there." The staff is friendly and helpful, and if I ask someone a question that they know someone else on staff is better qualified to answer, they'll take me to that person. I wish every retailer I visit was as pleasant to shop in as this store. Good selection of products, fair prices, great selection of wood, and good service.

Luv this place ❤. They have an awesome inventory of Festool tools, every thing you need for making pens on your turning lathe. Lots of raw cut wood slabs for table tops and other projects. Would definitely recommend this place if you love woodworking of any kind.

I've been shopping at my local Rockler for just over a year, and I heartily recommend it to anyone needing woodworking equipment or supplies. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, and they have a great selection of items, including some very nice wood. Their prices are reasonable, and almost everything in the store goes on sale at some point. If you visit the store and need help or advice, just ask. If the salesperson helping you doesn't know the answer to your questions, they can usually find someone else there who does know.

Love shopping at Rockler. Past 2 recent visits have both been exceptional. Dealing with Terry and Thomas (both on multiple occasions) have always been helpful and informative. Always have my questions answered and get what I need. I am always pointed in the best direction for what my needs are.

The place is like a candy store for me, I always go for one or two things and end up with more. This time was no exception. Wayne, one of the clerks seems to enjoy his work and was knowledgeable about where the inventory is. He was very nice and cheery, and correctly pointed me in the right direction. When I mentioned the project I was working on, he recommended some items. (I think I hate him.--Just kidding..Wayne). Wayne did a great job and made visit there enjoyable.

I was really pleased with my experience here. Robert immediately asked if I needed anything and helped me find the wood I was looking for. I got some beautiful ambrosia maple, and it was even on sale. Robert was friendly and even took my items to my car, so I wouldn't have to put my toddler down. The selection and organization were also great. I will definitely be back here!

The employees at this Rockler are the best I've ever had the experience of meeting. I was having an issue hinging a toy box that I built and they helped me find a solution and allowed me to use their workshop to install it. Top notch customer service!!

Really appreciate the friendly and knowledgeable staff at Rockler! They've come to know me by name and always seem genuinely interested in the projects I'm working on. It's refreshing to talk with someone that has actually used the products they are selling and will share their experience and advice on using said products.

Great staff. They greet you as you come in and Thank you as you leave. Always willing to help or offer advice. I am new to woodworking and everyone here makes you feel welcome. Tons of product and good pricing. I have not attended a class yet but their setup is really nice. Clean store.

We had a great experience with the Rockler Store on the I30 in Garland. Bill, the store manager, spent a lot of time with us while choosing finishing products for our entertainment center. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He offered excellent advice and guidance, which we really appreciated. We will definitely be returning to this store again.

Haven't been to this location before. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Helped me find what I needed fast, and held it all up front for me while I shopped around. I will say that they seemed to have far less hardware like tablesaws on display than other stores, but they had way more wood, and specialty wood, and accessories than other stores. Much closer for me than the Richardson location. Will be back.

I've been a customer of Rockler for a few years now and I thoroughly enjoy the experience of shopping here as much as the products. The staff are always willing to help or give advice, but equally willing to step back and allow the more knowledgeable to manage for themselves. It makes me think of shopping at a hardware store owned by Wilson from the old TV show Home Improvement. The lumber is always top notch, the Rockler branded tools and accoutrements are well made and lasting, and prices are often times better than competitors. I highly recommend this or any Rockler for seasoned woodworkers or beginners.
