Arcola City Police Department

Yesterday, May 24,2022, we had our RV unhitch in the middle lane of Highway 6. Very dangerous situation. Within minutes we had two officers, and I feel bad we never got their badge numbers to thank them, but they jumped in to assist with traffic control and useful equipment to help rehitch out RV. Thank you both very much. Also a good Samaritan stopped and added additional assistance and thru a joint effort got us back on the road . Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

I have never been arrested but I have interacted with a lot of the officers that look out for this town of Arcola. Thank you for all that you do.

The new Chief is an awesome guy.

Horrible people, there job is not to protect and serve. There job is to make racist comments and mock people. Karma will come bite you.Treat people equally, listen and help. Don’t escalate the issue, deescalate it. The way i was treated at your court house today, I am sure you treat your parents, wife, kids the same way. I am sure you mock your kids. I am sure you don’t hear them and flash your gun and badge. All i was trying to do was ask a question, isn’t that a freedom of speech? I hope you get treated the same way every where you go.

I was involved in an accident where a truck did not look when pulling out in front of me.
Corporal Rick Juarez was called to the seen. Intimidated me demanding that this was my fault....
Even though I already paid for a tow truck to move my vehicle (which was on public property unlike his testimony) He made me pay another tow truck as he did not want to wait. And insisted for some reason he had to wait.
Not only was he not compassionate and outright unprofessional in an emergency situation, he found the opportunity to make money. Even though I was the only party to show proof of liability insurance he wrote me up for a handful of citations..

This office should not be allowed to be in emergency situations without training/ correction of his actions.

This comes at a time in our country when police and citizens are becoming more divided and need to work together not against each other.

The tow truck that the officer scammed me into also paying let me know that this isn't the officers first rodeo like this.

Interestingly the Arcola TX PD website has no professionalism/IA department information..

The Arcola police are clearly not properly trained. Ignorant and rude. They do not respect traffic signs and drive like crazy. You will never see a police in Arcola doing anything rather than giving tickets. Be careful when you drive by 521 and Highway 6 because they are ALWAYS THERE. Just looking to give tickets over nothing. If you call them to report an issue they WILL NEVER PICK UP. Have tried calling them over gunshots and have never picked and do not care.

Stupid? Have a low IQ? Hate people? Can't get a job in any other police department because you're a crook? Well, then, WELCOME TO THE ARCOLA POLICE DEPARTMENT! There's always room for another idiot on the police force because the others are always being fired. And if you have an IQ of 30 and can't read, you CAN become the CHIEF!!!

" The Integrity Unit of the Texas Rangers and the FBI are looking into possibly criminal wrongdoings of Mayor Evelyn Jones and the Chief of Police David Tezeno of Arcola, Texas. Over the last month, numerous Arcola police officers have been arrested by Harris County for criminal wrongdoing. This is not uncommon for Arcola, because of previous Chiefs and Officers getting arrested or fired before, but this is just the beginning of events for the next 2 months."

Not me but a buddy of mine has been documenting his experience and sending me the evidence in case he doesn't return. That's how uncomfortable the environment and officer Farr has been making him. This guy is clearly on a power trip and needs to be removed of his position. Just read some of the other complaints.

Officers will pull you over for anything. If they can't find anything, they'll try their best to come up with something.

Man this police department is corrupt they are not serving or protecting anybody . Be careful of this so called cops because they only have one Goal and that is to get money out of your pocket beware people

Does not rate a 1, take longer routes to avoid going through Arcola

Arcola police are so corrupt beware they will do anything to get you in trouble.
