Taisho Japanese Grill and Sushi Bar

It wasn't busy when we got there but I'm sure it gets crazy in there. Best sushi I've found on this side of Houston so far. The service was wonderful but the food, was far better then I had expected. I'll definitely be returning. The one thing that surprised me the most was that the ginger wasn't dyed It looked how ginger should look.

The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was very clean and well lit.

Our chef was very talented and engaged us the entire time. He had all of the customary tricks down.

The beef sashimi was delicious with a little heat. Our fried rice was great as was all of our entrees.

We will definitely be back.

Really enjoyed the whole experience here. We went at lunch time on the weekend and there was no wait. The food was delicious and atmosphere was nice. The steak hibachi as well as the chicken hibachi are both good.

We were greeted and seated quickly, very attentive staff, food came out in a timely manner, really delicious

Shout out to Chef Kevin!!!! That man know his sushi!!!! He made very good dishes and even took custom rolls! I will definitely come back for more.

Love it! Food is good. There are lakefront views of Towne Lake and outdoor seating. It is perfect to sit outside and have a drink and appetizer by yourself or with friends.

Great place on the Towne Lake Boardwalk! They have quite a large selection of different items. The menu provides a bit for just about all price ranges. Go on a nice day and sit out on the patio overlooking the lake!

I like this place a lot. Usually come here with my sister every once in a while. It’s never been too busy here, service is prompt, food is fine, and the price is manageable. Don’t be dissuaded by that one reviewer claiming this place is “racist” against African American women; me and my sister have never felt discriminated against here.

The food is exceptional every time! Chicken Katsu and Teppanyaki Chicken are our go-to items. We are very picky and my fiancé has a shellfish allergy and they have no problem with us needing to make changes to the order!

We normally dine in, but the hibachi experience is also amazing! Can’t recommend Taisho enough :D

Went in around 3pm and had the whole place to myself. The food was great, I got a basic Philadelphia roll and the fantasy roll. The Philadelphia was thick and filling. The fantasy roll was also delicious 😋 and decorated very fancy.

The service was great and immediate. Music selection also had a nice vibe for the atmosphere. I was very happy with this place and definitely will return with a date.
