Plenty of technicals for anyone with a mountain bike. I hiked on Saturday and there were a slow steady stream of people on bikes. Two other crew came walking with their dog. Perfect secluded trail that has little traffic from hikers.

There are plenty of loops around, I went straight east and down towards the lake then took a loop trail back to the parking. About 2.5 miles was what I did.

A good amount of random bugs flying around a few days after it rained. No contact with anything other then bugs.

I would recommend wearing pants of long socks since there is some tall grass overshadowing the trails.
There was little trash.(Keep it that way Texas!)

Maybe I would go back to walk some other loops.

Beautiful primitive hiking trail. Some parts of re shared with bikes, but all the times we've been there we've only seen 1 bike. It has some "hills" and "valleys" which the kids found very fun! I would not recommend it for brand new hiker or little kids who can't walk well.

Enjoyed a morning hike, we got there when it was Dark and per reviews of about boars and snakes we walked the dirt road until it was light enough to see the trails, and help avoid snakes and/or boar encounters. Thankfully saw neither and enjoyed a great hike with beautiful flowers and great shade when the sun came out!

Beautiful trail, dress lightly though, gets a bit hot and humid, otherwise great outdoor adventure! Some small streams with extremely small fish but walk it far enough you reach a wide open area for good fishing. Worth it fellow anglers any hot spots you know of please give me a holler

East bound was in full Spring bloom and very aromatic. A short loop before the bridge was a pleasant surprise and offerd nice topography and views. The initial trail is a bit technical and gets the heart rate up well into the aerobic range and keeps it there. The east trail (compared to west, back towards Knob Hill trail head) is much less traveled and can be a bit less pedestrian. Saw whitetail doe, roadrunner, rabbit and 1 of the largest water moccasins I've seen in some time.. Primave trail the further east you go. Very nice trail and worth the drive

Really fun trail, finally a great place to train for the OCR races. Need to watch out for bikes flying thru. While loop is around 12 miles perfect for training. Wish the trailheads were marked with the corresponding loop number but otherwise great fun place to run, hike, or bike. Amazing views at night!

This place is great! The wildflowers and hills and Grapevine Lake without lots of people made for a fun few hours with the kids. There are no restrooms, so plan accordingly, but try it out!

This is a great place to walk, mountain bike or trail run. The trails get a little technical with hills but aren't to difficult. Also plenty of room on the trails for dog walking on leash.

Great natural trail for hiking or mountain biking. Forests, meadows, wet areas...this trail has it all. There's a few rocky hills, so it's not smooth and flat all the way.
