It's exactly what I think of when it comes to a local Texmex restaurant. They've had the same workers since I've been out here at the lake (3yrs). They are polite, and diligent. The food is consistently delicious, fulfilling, and served quickly, but always fresh. The refried beans have the right amount of lard, the rice is always soft, and you can pick any menu item... It will come out right. I always get a big red margarita :)

If you are looking for a quality Texmex meal like you remember growing up eating then stop here, and no you won't break the bank. Super affordable. Super yummy.

My wife and I spent our date day lunch here. Got the the fajitas for 2. They were amazing!! Great flavor on each of the meats. Also the salsa was very good as well! Great place!

Fajitas for 2 was so generous in portion! (Could use a little more flavor) . Prices not bad.

This is our favorite place to eat! We love the people, the atmosphere, and the prices. Since the first time we visited we were made to feel at home immediately and it has been wonderful ever since.

Great food great prices I love there food very clean friendly place. It's the only place I go when I want Mexican food. Great place to take your kids. They have a wide variety of menu items, they keep the chips coming to your table if there is 4 people they bring 2 basket's to you. I'm partial to there frozen margarita best around. I have never had a bad experience in this El Jacalito very family oriented place. Highly recommend it.. They have been here many years now so it's not a come and go place on the lake. We personally love this restaurant

Excellent food combined with service that any other establishment could and should learn and benefit from. All smiles and totally about the customer and providing food that i have to say was above and beyond what i expected. Not to mention they make pretty good drinks too. 😉
