Lynn's Tax Service

I use to go to Lynn before I got on disability for 10 years. She had always been punctual n very friendly. She knows what she doing n always answered any question u might have. Been sending my family n friends to her every since I found her n they all say the same. I would recommend anyone looking for a tax place to go here.

Highly recommended been going with Lynn for 4 years with no regrets. In and out with no problems. Questions gets answered they are very nice and Professional.

Quick and painless. Show up for your appointment and she has you in and out in no time! If you want someone that gets to the point and gets the job done this is the tax lady for you.

I put in 3 requests with the receptionist to have Lynn contact me to consult before doing my taxes... A month and a half later the receptionist called me to let me know my taxes are done and I owe over $1000 back.. Not angry that I owe but it would have been nice if Lynn or her receptionist would have followed up with me as requested.

Stay away - I left my tax paperwork with Lynn Tax Services early March. I was told that they were running behind to expect it to take 2 weeks to be completed. I thought that was long but still left my return information there. I should have ran! 2 weeks turned to 3 weeks and no update calls. I called them on that 3 week only to get a recording that Lynn was working hard to get everyone's taxes completed by the deadline. After weeks with no updates, I called on April 15 to see what was going on. I was greeted by a snotty receptionist that Lynn has been working so hard to get everyone's taxes done. Lynn had unexpectedly had more clients this year so unfortunately my taxes were not going to be complete by the deadline of April 18. When I was rightly upset to find out at the last minute that my taxes were still not done, I was told I could take them to H & R block or elsewhere to have them done. Then Ms. Snotty told me that as a "courtesy to me" (they were doing me a favor) that they would file an extension. I have never heard of an extension. After several other snide remarks from Ms Snotty, I did agree for the extension to be filed in my behalf. I never received any confirmation that the extension was filed. A month past before I finally got the call that my taxes were complete. I was told that I owed $5000 (now with penalties for being late). No way. No way should I owe anything. I called my accountant that I had always used (18 years). I had moved and had only used Lynn because it was closer. Anyway, I set up an appointment with him to go over Lynn's calculations to see what went wrong and where. I arrived to Lynn's office, my intent was to pay my bill with Lynn's and to just go straight to my accountant that I do Highly recommend Gene Genrio in Arlington TX. Since I would not sign the return and ask just to pay my bill, everyone in the office became involved. Mainly Lynn, saying that I owed in taxes that she did them correctly and that she works hard etc etc etc.. She decided to look over them again before I left with my taxes. She told me that I did not pay in enough money. I corrected her with the amount I did pay in. Lynn copy machine had cut off about 3 zero on my W2- It was plain as day that the copy was cut off. Why she didn't call and ask for a new copy since the one she had was compromised. I show her proof of my W2 (without the compromised cut off copy) I am now getting back over $8000 instead of pay IN $5000. RUN

I've made 3 calls to the office since turning in my taxes the first week of March. I still have yet to receive a phone call with any type of status update that I've requested each time I've called. This will probably be the last time I use their services since last year it was a similar situation, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt that Lynn was swamped. The receptionist each time has the same response, she put me on hold them comes back with we're working to get everyone's finished and once we have an update we will call you....I NEVER HAVE RECEIVED A CALL BACK!!!!

It's been a long time and I haven't received my taxes yet. I've turned in all the information that was required and waited for a call on an update. Now there's a receptionist that says that has supposedly called but I have no record in my phone history at all. I have never been disappointed about this location until now.

Ever since they got bought out service has gone downhill while price has gone uphill , My family and coworkers have used this tax service for many years , last year we really got disappointed they took more than six months to process our taxes with no explanation during the process, this year we gave the tax service another chance this year the price went up over 50 dollars didn't even disclose this . Look elsewhere to get another reputable company to depend on

When Lynn did taxes we had no Issues, but after she merged with apm tax, the service is horrible, staff is not knowledgeable, they give you the round about, they state they will call you back and never do, the person who does the paperwork is never available, I can keep going on how horrible the service has been.

I should have gone with my gut feeling when right away I saw the mistakes being made, I have asked for a copy of the corrections made because there was a few mistakes made I wanted them to change/correct. I asked for a copy 4-26-2022 & 5-9-2022 have emailed I have called NO response, this is very frustrating

I Filed my taxes in February and still have not received my refund and they can’t even tell me anything about it all they can say is IRS is running behind but yet my neighbors used this company and they’ve already got theirs and they filed the same time I did I will not use this place again

Very slow takes forever to get your taxes back. Receptionist has no clue what shes doing very disappointed
