Hope Speed NP, APRN

Hope really takes an interest in my health. She follows up with test results promptly. She has improved my life quality, by helping me better manage several medical issues I've dealt with for years .

Hope Speed, FNP-C has been a wonderful provider to work with. We went to see her for my son. He had been sick for months and we had been to several providers already without any relief of symptoms. After seeing Hope Speed, FNP-C and Dr. Sohail my son is feeling great. Hope was easy to get in touch with and kept us update on all procedures and lab values quickly after being completed. Dr. Sohail personally spoke to us after his procedure and sent the results himself. To say I was impressed is an understatement. I would also like to say the staff at the GI clinic was a pleasure to work with. They are quick to respond to phone calls and are always professional and kind when speaking with them on the phone. Would highly recommend Hope Speed, FNP-C and Dr. Sohail as providers! The only complaint I would have is having to go through the main Hospital/Clinic phone system for directing calls. I would recommend directing calls to the office during office hours and call center for afterhours.

Great straightforward communication with the patient in regards to medical issues presented. Afterwards an unanswered request for some paperwork for work never came to pass. I was able to get a solution within my medical team.

i like Hope. I like the fact she gets right to the problem without test after test that really are not necessary. I am a medical person and know some of the test that need to be done. She does that and stays very thorough.

I like this Dr office. They help guide u through and try to help u in a timely manner

MY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS NP PROVIDER WAS NOT GOOD. SHE FILLED IN FOR MY MD PROVIDER TO DISCUSS SCHEDULING MY 5-YEAR EGD & COLONOSCOPY FOLLOW UP. SHE ATTEMPTED TO SEPARATE THE TWO PROCEDURES BY SIX MONTHS-versus- BOTH PROCEDURES AT ONCE. THIS WOULD CAUSE UNDUE HARDSHIP OF ADDITIONAL CO-PAYS and HAVING TO PREP TWICE. THIS WOULD ALSO ALLOW MEDICAL BILLING FOR TWO SEPARATE PROCEDURES REQUIRING TWO SEPARATE SURGICAL FACILITIES and SEPARATE MEDICAL STAFF. SHE CLAIMED MY BLOOD THINNERS WOULD NOT ALLOW BOTH PROCEDURES ON THE SAME DAY. THIS IS SIMPLY NOT TRUE. CLEARLY ESTABLISHED MEDICAL GUIDELINES DICTATE A PATIENT STOP TAKING BLOOD THINNERS 3-DAYS BEFORE ANY PROCEDURE. THIS IS WHAT THE M.D. CONDUCTING THE PROCEDURES ORDERED AND I RECEIVED BOTH PROCEDURES WITH NO PROBLEMS WHAT-SO-EVER.

I saw Hope from May-July 2018. During this time I had 5 tests run. I had to call the office to find out the results from each test because Hope’s office did not return my calls. I was given a “direct line” to Hope’s office, but this turned out to be the general hospital number. There is no way to get in direct contact with her, even if she is your provider. After realizing better help is available, I changed to Dr. Fanous. Within one month, he identified the problem and I had surgery. HOPE WILL WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY.

Do NOT go to Hope Speed. She kept doing the same few tests month after month. She is not an aggressive medical professional. In fact, she is genuinely unprofessional and hopelessly oblivious. She does NOT truly care because she does not look at further testing options. She “just doesn’t know what is wrong”. Thank God a real GI Specialist, Dr. Fanous, cared to do a simple scope and discovered the problem immediately.
