Man, we love these burritos! First of all, they are huge! We can never finish the whole thing, and they heat up great for tomorrow's breakfast. Also, the ingredients are good, not traces of bacon or whatever meat; it's all up in there. You're going to need the green sauce... maybe the red too if you want to boost the heat. They are always fast and friendly and open 24hours - crazy! My favorite 2 AM drive-through, 8 AM drive-through, 12:45 PM drive-through... It's always good!

Went here on two different nights and the customer service in the drive-thru was kind and patient. Took the time to answer questions and didn’t feel like a hassle to them. Which I love and appreciate.

Breakfast burritos, enchiladas that had enough filling and wasn’t dry shredded chicken but actual juicy, flavorful pieces, loaded half fries, and to top it off the churros that were still warm and covered in cinnamon sugar jus the way I like it.

This is a genuinely pleasant restaurant with a variety of breakfast and lunch options. The food portions are great for starving customers. I love how easy it is to modify an order just to your liking. There isn't anything on the menu that won't sound familiar because it's all classic, delicious Mexican food done right. This place is about as standard as U.S. Style Mexican food gets. It's worth a try if you wanna eat plenty of food. Again, the food portions are VERY generous, so I highly recommend eating here on an empty stomach or if you're ready to eat food portions as big as the plate.

This place reminds me of the fast food Mexican joints in Phoenix, AZ. Very satisfying and reminds me of home. The super fries, super nachos are good. I even get just a bean and cheese burrito and it’s yummy. Can’t go wrong with breakfast burritos either, all their burritos are HUGE.

Hidden gem with amazing food! A menu that’s huge and made fresh once you order! Fast and friendly service! Taco Tuesday special is 2 tacos with sides and drink for $4.99 ! Looks small from outside but plenty of dining space inside!

I love coming here at anytime...breakfast. lunch and dinner...tacos have a lot of flavor and are big enough that you can make 2 tacos from 1....burritos are great and they also let you build your own...very, very affordable and the lady that takes orders in the morning shift is very polite clean and courteous

este es muy buen. im no good at spanish but this is possibly the best little hideaway for delicious food and generous proportions try taco tuesday where you can get a huge plate for around $5-7 depending on inflation lol. right now i think it's 4.99 but it's two tacos beans rice and a drink! they have a little drive thru so you can stop on your commute!

Only place I get great menudo outside of Cali or Mexico!

Everything is great here, be going since 2005. Service is pretty good (damn good for a low price point) and the menu is extensive. EVERYTHING IS GOOD!

We will be back again, go at least monthly (we live in Southlake so a bit of drive but worth it)

I love this place, everything is always so delicious. The green chili is amazing. So much food for reasonable price. Also I love how clean this place, and you can see the kitchen fron the counter.

Alvarado is one of my favorite go to spots for quick and delicious Mexican food, especially for those late night cravings. The prices here are good, the service isn't bad, and being open 24 hours makes Alvarado a good option. The salsa bar is good and the food is awesome.

Alvarado is a place we routinely come to for quality authentic mexican food, it is consistently tasty, warm, and well portioned. It has Menudo on its menu most days of the week and the tacos are awesome! It's become a staple to our family and we eat here often. You won't be disappointed if you come here!!

We're originally from El Paso and have lived in DFW since 1991. Alvarado's consistently has the best menudo we've found anywhere in the Metroplex. We like our menudo with posole and pan frances...casi quemado. ❤
