CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances - Tyler: Emergency Room

I had my first ever ER visit here due to an asthma attack. My fiancé brought me in and we were both very impressed with the care I received. The ladies at the front desk were very professional, caring, and quickly got me into a wheelchair. My wait to get back to a room was maybe 15 minutes or so. Dr. Chauncey listened to all of our concerns and explained the tests and medications I would receive. All of the staff who cared for me were quick and courteous. At one point there was only one RN on the floor, but even then I did not have to wait too long for anything I needed. My whole visit took about 2.5 hours, and I left feeling MUCH better and had peace of mind knowing all of my imaging and tests were clear, and I had medication prescribed to help prevent any further problems. I am very grateful to have received such excellent care in what was a scary situation.

We showed up last night –/morning around 1:30 AM and the staff that was working at that time that attended my partner was absolutely phenomenal. Very caring patient sweet nice fast. We really appreciate all the work and dedication that they have there with that staff

My husband came by ambulance unable to walk. Care efficient and professional. Hospital packed. Was seen by Doctor. IV steroids given. Admitted to over flow very clean nurses very efficient professional. Moved to another area overflow clean nurses efficient and professional. Moved to preoperative had surgery by neurosurgeon who was excellent. With hospital full and all staff very busy my husband's care was excellent throughout. After surgery moved to large quiet roo. Again very busy nurses doing excellent job. Food still not up to pre Covid but still ok. Very grateful that my husband has use of his legs again. Very grateful

They have recently updated the facility it was the first time I was needing urgent medical care. I walked kill the door in terrible pain they put me straight into a wheelchair and took me into a room. The Dr was in the room immediately I was shocked. It turned out to be kidney stones.

For 2 1/2 years I think the ER and hospital was my home. Dr Bilby is the best, I had only 1 bad experience with a female Dr. In my opinion she needs a new profession, I should have turned her in.
Trinity has always been very good to me, loved my nurse's. I was treated with respect, dignity and true professionalism.

My name is Phillip Gorniak I want to thank " Crazy Billy" team. Keith and his ambulance partner I don't know his name . Keith please thank this man from me. My paramedics that served me on Aug,02.2020 and maybe saved my life !!! The job they do is not easy job .They offer heath, life to service other people and save lives. Without GREAT PARAMEDICS and decisions they have to make in seconds. Even the best doctors can't save the life without great paramedics

1/11/2019 - took my husband to emergency room for a second bout of clostridium difficile known better as (C diff)... when it came time for his new prescription of vancomycin to cure the bacteria. The cost of this drug proved to be very expensive (i.e. $1900.00 was quoted by one pharmacy) ...two nurses Ashley and Brooke and Kathy the pharmacist at CTMF and who treated my husband worked the phones to find a suitable provider. after much research and several phones calls, I was able to get the drug at a reasonable rate. These people were terrific! Without their assistance, I would not have gotten this much need medicine for my husband,

Excellent service an when I came in for an emergency they saw me right away an diagnosed the problem an had me back to doing what I had to do!!!!

Quick and efficient. Friendly and respectful. Professional.

For an emergency room, it was not overcrowded (3 pm Friday afternoon). Pleasant helpful people, good triage. Probably saved my husband's life. Really great nurse, admission young lady. Great caring doctor (in and out, but hey it is the ER.) "We're gonna take care of you Mr. Spillman." Every person we dealt with was nice. Some were very comforting. All seemed competent. For the first time in months he and I have hope that someone will diagnose and treat his pain. I took him to the ER based on blood work this AM done by a local doctor. About a three or four hour wait for hospital admission.

The nurse I had in the ER, Savannah, was so sweet and compassionate. A real gem! Thank you for taking the time to explain things to my husband and me.

I was born here (as was my brother and sister) and will continue to go here for all my medical needs whether it is this er or the one on Broadway. the staff is always friendly and try to get you back as fast as possible. people need to understand that some people need medical care before others depending on whats going on no matter who shows up first. My niece was born here and god children (all 3) and they were taken care of very well the kids and the mothers.
