Very americanized!! The food was great!! Recommend the chicken/steak fajitas and the brownie ice cream dessert !!

I absolutely love El Palacio! Ben the owner is wonderful. He goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Our little server , Christie was phenomenal. I have never had a server so attentive and sweet . My sister in law from Mississippi was with me. She said it was the best Mexican food she has EVERY had and she has been all over the world ! Thank you Ben and Christie for a great experience and great food ! We will be back !

I’m a big chicken sandwich lover but when I tell ya I been living here in ozark for 4 years know an El Palacio new chicken sandwich hits the spot. Better than McDonald’s an Zaxbys slider . You guys go check out there menu gets better every year

One of my new favorite places. My husband and I have been here 4 years now and have avoided the place like a plague. When we hear Mexican restaurant, we assume all Mexican food loaded with beans or that mash that we don't like. We'll we were wrong to think such a thing. We were forced in there last Saturday around 3pm because the place we planned to go shut down. It was very clean upon entering, had a cute little Mexican theme going and they were very friendly. It was not busy when we got there but started filling up towards the end. Unfortunately I forget the name of the meal and appetizer I got but they were absolutely delicious. Especially the appetizer. My husband got the Spanish burger and said it was really good. It looked delicious. And if you are taking a kid with you, they have a kid friendly menu with chicken fingers and burgers on it. So if you are like me, don't let the thought of Mexican Restaurant fool you. You can ask for no beans and the menu has alot to choose from. It is a definite must for everyone to try at least once!

I absolutely Love coming to El Palacio's to eat. I Love it to the point that I drive from the city I live in just to eat here it is so so good. I won't eat at any of the Mexican restaurants where I live and there are many of them, but I prefer to drive to Ozark AL if I'm planning on Mexican food it's definitely worth it. The owner and the staff are so awesome they go above and beyond to make sure that you are satisfied with your meal and that you feel at home. Just know that if you are ever in the Ozark AL area ant want good Mexican food you should give this restaurant a try, you will not be disappointed.

The new fried chicken sandwich is amazing. It's not greasy and doesn't have a lot of batter. Taste better than chic filet's. Service was great as well.

Outstanding service by Skylar, and owner, Ben, went out of his way to make our dining experience personal and enjoyable. I get so tired of lowering my expectations post-covid. But this establishment earns every star !!

The price was wonderful, the food was delicious & Tiffany & Ben were so friendly. They made us feel like we were home! The food was their own recipes & date back to the 1800s I think they said. 1000/10 recommend, we will have to make the 2 hour drive from home to visit again and probably make it a tradition! Thank you guys for they great food and service!

Man what can I say. Nothing but they have possibly the best tacos I have ever eaten. I use to eat at this place when it was in Dothan, AL but they closed down. I tried this one in Ozark, AL and so far I have returned to eat again. My plans are to return I enjoyed my tacos and plan on trying something different I hope it is as good as the tacos. Nice place.

Good food and good service! I visit this restaurant with family and also on lunch breaks with coworkers. It’s nice to have a sit down restaurant that can get you in and out on your hour lunch break 😊

My family and I were traveling across state when we found this hidden gem! Very delicious food! Large portions at a fair price. Was impressed by the staff and the atmosphere. The owner was very friendly too! Will definitely recommend and coming again!

If I could give 20 stars in all areas I would!! This place is by far the best mexican food I have ever tasted!!! The Owner Ben took time out of his busy day to say hi and ask us about our experience and was SUPER FRIENDLY. The Waitress Tiffany was OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! The Service was AWESOME!! The food was AWESOME!!!! The resaurant was CLEAN AND FRIENDLY!!!! I recommend this place to everyone!!!!

Best beef nachos and enchiladas ever! Been coming here for years. Salsa is right chips are warm and crunchy. Worth the trip.

Took my mom to lunch today. What a wonderful choice we made! Had the best waitress,seated by owner. Everything was clean and impressive, but the food was wonderful. We got chicken quesadillas. So good! Cant say enough about how much we enjoyed it but it has become my favorite go to eat place!!!!!! Ozark has a WINNER!

By far the absolute best Mexican restaurant I've ever been to. Food was out of the park, our waitress Tiffany was AMAZING. The owner, Ben was as nice as can be. Absolutely 1000/10 recommended!

We hadn't tried El Palacio in several years but it was pretty good! The fajitas and enchiladas were so good and very flavorful. The tortilla chips and guacamole were really good too. We will definitely order from El Palacio again. It's so much better than Rodeo's!
