Front Porch Quilt Shoppe

I saw this lovely shop a couple years ago while on my way to Florida. It was closed, so the next year we planned our trip to Florida so that we would be there during business hours. The kit I bought was missing a fabric so I contacted the owner. She was so sweet and sent me not one, but two fabrics that might work. I used them both! Thank you so much! Love your shop and if this Nebraska lady is ever anywhere remotely close by, I will definitely stop in again!

Love this shop and I love Melanie.

We moved to Enterprise 19 years ago when my husband went to flight school. I discovered Melanie’s shop and fell in love with all things quilting.

Over all these years, I have been to many quilt shops (I even owned one!) and none compare to The Front Porch!

The fabric selection is always top notch as Melanie has great taste and creativity.

The quilting lessons I learned from Melanie’s direct advice or even passing comments have stuck with me. I have quilts that friends admire and they invariably comment on something that I added or did because of something smart that Melanie recommended. She has been a quilting mentor to great effect.

When I have been traveling within a hundred or so miles of the shop and can arrive during business hours, I stop and visit and shop. Melanie is always welcoming, a good listener and a fun storyteller AND the fabrics are consistently beautiful and amazing.

I encourage everyone to support their local quilt shop (forget the online stuff, please) and if you are within a hundred miles of Melanie in Ozark, it’s well worth the drive!

We stopped today and visited with Melissa! The friendliest quilt shop we visited on our 2800 mile summer road trip! Great selection of fabric and amazing samples and ideas. (Check out their website for their generous offer of free patterns.) Melissa was extremely knowledgeable, gracious, cordial and charming. It’s what quilters want when visiting a quilt shoppe. I did not go in but my husband went in to look for some Christmas gifts for his Mom. He said that the lady working today was very helpful and pointed out some great ideas. The building this shop is in is so cute!

The Quilt shop has a wide variety of fabric, patterns and sewing notions. While chain stores may offer some fabric for a cheaper price, the Quilt shop carries nice quality fabric. Also the shop has a charming atmosphere with lovely ladies working there. Highly recommend to stop and look around.

Always love coming to the Front Porch Quilt Shoppe. They have a HUGE selection of fabrics, patterns and notions. They also offer classes & longarm quilting. The staff is so helpful & willing to help you find that perfect fabric or just let you peruse at your own pace.

Loads of fabric!! Young girl working the day we stopped by was knowledgeable and willing to answer tons of questions. She was quilting that day and let us watch the machine. If you need fabric or lessons - this is the place!
