I love my dental office! Dr. Slade and his staff are FABULOUS!! I've been a patient for a few years now and will never go anywhere else. They always greet me with kind words, are prompt and professional during any procedure and genuinely care about me and my family. I truly enjoy going to the dentist! Service wise, Dr. Slade did a bridge for me last year and I have NEVER experienced any pain or issues with the tooth.
I completely, 100% recommend River Valley Dental to anyone needing dental care.

I was very nervous and scared! My face had swollen and I didn't know what to do. The doctor and clinical staff was very welcoming and made me feel safe. They made sure I understood everything and helped me stay within my budget. I recommend River Valley to anyone that is scared and looking for a place to trust. I Love the staff. Dr. Pirtle is awesome. Never have to wait a long time to get an appointment and never wait long when you get there. Dr. Pirtle has done a great job repairing my teeth with little or no pain. Katie Jo is a wonderful hygienist. She always greets with a smile and again no pain when she is working in your mouth. I have been to many other dentists but none that I have been this happy with. The other ladies in the office are also always helpful and kind and greet you with a smile. I don't dread going to the dentist at this office. Great job all of you!!!!

The hygienist and doctor I had were very talented and amiable. Also, as a first time patient everyone was very friendly and they make an effort to understand what objectives a patient prioritizes for their dental health.

Going to the dentist is never what anyone looks forward to, but every experience I have had at River Valley Family Dentistry has been pleasant and comfortable from the time I walk in the door until I leave. If you’re looking for a new dentist, I highly recommend them!

I have only been once for a cleaning but wow everyone is so nice and friendly. They ask you a lot of questions to get to know you personally not just your teeth. The whole office is clean and has a homie feeling to it. Also I love that they took time to make you feel welcomed. I would recommend them for anyone looking for a new place to go.

I love being here ! I was very shy and scared at first . I had a broken tooth . They suggested a root canal then a crown . I was terrified to death being the fact I haven’t been to the dentist in over 10 years. They made me very comfortable. They are always nice and welcoming. I’m thankful & grateful for their hard work .

So them calling themselves a “Family Dentist” is a Literal term. I love the history. & I love that it is a Passed down family business. Nooooow let me tell my story. I had an emergency of a tooth that needed to be extracted YesterYEAR. Yes. It was BAD. Not only were they able to see me that same week as a new patient. But I got it removed in that same week. Called a few days later for a refill on my pain Killers. And being the awesome people that they are they asked me to come in FIRST to make sure it’s healing properly and give me my prescription. Let me just say. EVERYONE here is so sweet. Every patient I’ve seen walked out their office, including myself. Left with a smile…. Face swollen. But Happy 🥰 Finally found my Dentist Family. River valley has the friendliest, most upbeat, warming dentist office we've been too. Miah absolutely loved them! It's the welcoming that sold us. They introduce you to everyone and make you feel so welcome! We have found our new dentist home with Dr. Pirtle & his staff!!!

Honestly love this office, between the staff and the office itself. The staff are very kind, and remember me each & every time and make conversation personal and make me feel right at home. I’ve never been one to be scared of the dentist, Ive always loved getting my teeth cleaned. But the staff here do such a great job at what they do and are so gentle & kind. If you’re looking for a good dentist, Dr. Pirtle and his staff are the place to be!

This office knows everyone by name. Doc is always patient and polite. The front office staff is extremely accommodating, no matter what my schedule may be they ALWAYS work around it. No matter your background or finances, this office sees you as a person, you always feel welcomed. Doc helped my smile and my teeth is getting back healthy, a work in progress but I know I am in great hands. My smile isn't perfect like TV and thats not what i wanted, but I am 100% satisfied with my natural look.

This is my family dentist from my grandparents all the way down to me. I aged out of my pediatric dentist when I turned 19, my mom referred me here. This office feels like family and they will take care of your like no other. The staff is very friendly and loving, they make you feel very much at home. I love this place!!!! 😍
