Beware of Maritta. I came all the way from lake view in Chicago IL, and she stated she could do my hair and bring me from my natural color to a platinum silver. I have extremely curly hair, and she knew this because she sent me messages on Facebook asking for pictures. After I sent her the pictures of my hair and how curly it was she said it was fine and could do my hair in ONE day. I ended up sitting in the chair for 9 hours. She stripped, bleached, and dyed my hair. The end result was black hair. Blacker than what I had when I walked into this place!!!! I was shocked and she said it would fade to blue. Which again - not what I asked for.
I go home disappointed and noticed my hair wasn’t as curly anymore, obviously. So I called her after two weeks saying my hair is turning a muddy color. So she invited me back for free. I go back and she stripped bleached and dyed my hair AGAIN. She cut me so many times on the back of my head, I was even bleeding. I got home and sent her photos of my hair and was in tears and had bloody cuts on the back of my hair and she said it was too bad and would not give me a refund. In the end. My hair was so fried and damaged I had to buzz it. I paid $225 to have my hair damaged and cut and receive terrible service from her. She yelled at me over the phone and said it’s my fault and that she isn’t scared of me and will not remove my pictures from Facebook because they are HER pictures. It took me 16 months to grow my hair. For her to just ruin it and not offer help or at least a PARTIAL refund, makes me feel so upset and destroyed. I will never recommend her. Even to an enemy. Stay away from this place.
