Pinkys

This place was a gem of a find. I am not from the area, rather my wife is. We found this spot on the lake and it had a great vibe and the food/drinks were delicious. We got the Buffalo wings and fried pickles as well as a margarita and a few beers. The sauces we got were jalapeño, boom boom and stinging honey garlic. They were all super good. It was a great view of the lake and really glad we stopped by. We will be back when we are in town.

Thank you Pinky's owners and staff for great conversation this evening when we stopped by. Great place, great location and great staff and owners is a great combination of a fun time!

Crazy

First time visiting, eating at Pinky's. Tasty food, nice service people. Highly recommend! Might want to wait until cicadas are gone to eat outside on deck.

Best Effing time at Pinky’s, in Effingham IL! Chloe was our waitress and she was awesome! We are on a road trip from Cali to NY and this was one of our stops. Best surprise location ever! We are staying at an air bnb near the campground and took a walk over. Highly highly recommend!

I went for the first time tonight with my friend who has been here multiple times. I absolutely loved it! The atmosphere was amazing and the place was beautiful. The service was quick and friendly. I enjoyed everything I got, including the fried pickles, pulled pork Mac N Cheese, and the adult Capri Suns. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend! Well worth the visit.

The domes are fantastic. Plenty warm inside. They had blankets inside if needed, we didn't.

Atmosphere
Loved our experience here, laid back, relaxing, you get a beautiful view of the water, they have an outdoor seating area with live music and also a bar inside, they even tilted the umbrella for us when the sun was shining in our eyes, the wait staff is very sweet, we came here for our friends Birthday 🎉 which they give out little red velvet cakes topped with a sparkler, very special!

Food & Drinks
The cocktails here are to die for, you have to try the adult Capri sun, it's delicious and fruity, they also offer Blue Moon (which is my bf favorite), we also tried the melted Popsicle, fruity but strong, and also the lakewater, very green and tastes of melon.
We had the pulled pork sandwich, which is very good, It has a bit of spice to it though! Beach bum nachos were delicious and loaded with all sorts of toppings, the cotton candy cheese cake comes with a side of cotton candy, it was very creamy and delicious, we also had the funnel cake fries sprinkled with powdered sugar, they were so good we couldn't stop eating them all!
We also spent our 4th of July here (technically the date was the 3rd of July)
You can sit outside of Pinky's and have a wonderful view of the fireworks, the park on the other side of the area was much too crowded, but near Pinky's they had hardly anyone there so it was much quieter and less tense! Plus we could take cocktails out onto the porch/outside area.

It's an amazing experience but make sure to have a reservation or be ready to wait a little bit on weekends because they get busy quickly and have limited tables
Another thing I would love to mention is that during the fireworks, the owner(I think he was the owner or the manager) allowed the whole wait staff and kitchen staff to be off the clock so they could enjoy the fireworks as well and I thought that was so awesome of them to do!

10/10 definitely a place to return to! Family and friends friendly! Staff is friendly and food is awesome!!

Great service, food, and view!! Manager, owners, and staff are all great! They have games for friends & family to play on the deck, a great view of the lake, and you can pull up easily to the dock from Lake Sara!

First time there for myself and my granddaughter . She gave it a 9 out of 10 and rated it above all her favorite places to eat at. We ask what would make it 10 ? Her reply was if they had a Pinkys character to meet and take pictures with . We all went home so full and happy with this place . We will be a return customer in the future .

They had our order to us so quick! The food tasted amazing, the wait staff made sure there wasn't empty cups/plates left sitting very long at all, the alcohol was on point! Will be back for sure

We ate here on a Monday evening with a group of 13 people. We didn’t have a reservation (and I don’t think they even take them), but we called 20 minutes before we arrived and they said they would hold a table for us that was in the shade. And they did have the table ready when we got there, as promised, which was nice. It was a fairly busy evening, but the waitstaff was handling the traffic. It was our waitress’s first night, and she seemed nervous, but she did great. Our food arrived after about 15 minutes, and it was all hot and very good. Everyone in our group had only good things about what they had to eat. I had the All American Burger with fries and it was delicious. The fries could’ve been a little warmer, but they had a good flavor. I’d definitely get that meal again. Others had shrimp, grilled chicken breast, fish, and wraps. After we ate, the crowd had cleared, so we sat for a while at the table and enjoyed the view of Lake Sara. Our waitress was never far away and asked us several times if we needed anything or if we wanted refills. We had a very good meal, great atmosphere, and a good time hanging out together this night at Pinky’s.

Awesome food and a good sandy area for kids to play in. I did not really like the cheese curds. Mostly cause they were beer battered. Overall good place for family.

The food is delicious here. I had the Pinkyshoe with the added pulled pork, and it was the best. The staff is always super friendly, and they are always taking care of what you need.

Good food, very busy

Good was great server Sara was the BEST!!! Great atmosphere. Can't wait to come back! ... Definitely get the drinks in buckets!!
