North River Physical Therapy

I have had problems with my knee for several years - not the bones of my knee but the surrounding tendons, etc. I have had the shots, done the home exercises and worn several different kinds of braces. I have had about 4 sessions of PT and I absolutely cannot believe the change in my knee "ache". The staff is outstanding. They know what they are doing. I am truly in disbelief at the amount of help I have received in several different modalities of therapy for my knee. I am so thankful that my physician referred me to North River Physical Therapy.

Excellent experience in every way! The initial assessment by Todd was thorough and unrushed. Scheduling is easily accomplished and the receptionist was always so helpful and polite. The building is spacious and pleasantly designed and furnished. The office is easily accessible and parking is plentiful and convenient. First class in every way!

The caring and knowledgeable staff at North River Therapy helped to make a difficult time in my life so much easier. After a total knee replacement in July, 2023, I did my outpatient physical therapy at NRT, and I accomplished so much in the 8 weeks time that I was there. I not only reached my goals, but I surpassed them with the great help of the pts there. Each pt took the time and had the patience with me, and used various methods of helping me rehab through one of the hardest journeys in my life. I will forever be indebted to all of the staff there. Now on to total knee replacement #2! At least I know I will be in the best hands!

This is my 4th time back to North River Therapy for various conditions. I love that the space is less busy and more personalized than other PT environments. The therapists are friendly and well trained. They have a machine called Alter G that reduces your body weight and allows you to walk without pain.

I have used North River Therapy several times in the past ten years for my vertigo and physical therapy services. I have always been impressed with the quality of their care and concern for their patients. I highly recommend them to anyone needing physical therapy of any type.

I have had an incredible experience here at North River PT! One thing I have really appreciated is the one on one care by the PT! They listen and show concern while teaching all the exercises! The staff is so kind and courteous, and I can not recommend them enough!!

If you're looking for a physical therapy office, look no further. This was my third time coming to see Todd & Sam, my first after a major surgery (neurogenic thoracic outlet) and the care I received exceeded all my expectations. Not only are they skilled in their profession and patient care but they are also extremely kind and personable and treat every patient like an extension of family. Every therapist has their own techniques while keeping the goal of recovery front and center so it's always fun getting to work with them. The facility is very nice and they are always finding new and creative exercises to make recovery not feel like a chore. I cannot recommend them enough!

Great staff, great atmosphere - very warm and concerned; great listeners. They can give you specific answers as to why you you’re doing what you do and how it will help whatever your problem is. You also have access to an app with a customized home exercise program that can be changed to adapt to your changing needs. And you get to keep it even after your therapy sessions are done.

This may sound weird, but I went to my first PT appointment at NRT "expecting to receive nothing" to help me get better. My experience with PT after many past surgeries always seemed like something I was expected to do, but that brought me very little tangible help.
Having said that, after my first session at NRT and then all the subsequent ones, I could hardly wait to get back because of the obvious relief and flexibility I was gaining each session.
My 2nd ankle replacement surgery on June 20 was a huge one that "had to work," otherwise, the next step would be an amputated left foot. I am FIRMLY convinced that my work at NRT and then how they taught me to continue the exercises at home was the key to my recovering as well as I have over these last 6 months. The results have been astonishing!
From Todd Miller through all the many different therapists that worked with me, plus all the techs that helped, and even the warm, friendly greetings one receives at the receptionist desk, my experience over the last 6 months has been the best!!!
