Fairfield Inn by Marriott Forsyth Decatur

Stayed at the hotel over the holidays..I had trouble while trying to order food out ...it was very cold outside ..didn't want to venture outside ..went down to the front desk to see if the girl at front desk could help me..she was wonderful..she helped me right away .I believe her name was Wanda..great attitude..wonderful asset to the hotel

From the very SECOND we walked into this hotel, we felt like family!! The staff here…..Heather, Daniel, Darcy, Dalton and Amanda…..have old school customer service skills that are hard to find today. The breakfast area every single day was clean, well stocked and many options. The front desk staff was fun (especially Daniel), well engaged and always willing to help with questions. I will 100% choose this hotel over all others in this area based on the staff alone! Whoever owns this hotel, you are lucky to have them!!!!

Comfy. Quiet. Clean. Hot water. Good breakfast. Good front desk personnel.

#1 The hotel room was clean! Accommodating and friendly staff! My children enjoyed the pool and I particularly liked that there was a somewhat sheer curtain on the pool room windows for added privacy. No complaints, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel🙂

I love that they are dog-friendly. No weight limit and only a $20 refundable pet deposit. We were traveling from Michigan to Arizona with our dog, and it often becomes difficult and expensive to find hotel rooms on the road that will allow dogs

We were given our room keys and within minutes of being in the room I noticed the toilet did not flush. I went down to the front desk and the lady was very apologetic and immediately moved us to another (upgraded) room. The bed was amazing! King size plus lol if that's even possible. Their breakfast was definitely a pleasant surprise. The food taste like it was actually cooked, not just microwaved.

Booked for one day just in case we didn't like it. But ended up staying our entire visit. Staff is very nice. Breakfast was good. Comfortable environment. And Fan Only worked entire night in room (big plus)!

I had a very inexpensive stay here. Amanda and Daniel are excellent managers. Really personable people who provided my nephew and I really great service while we stayed. I needed a few toiletries and they were delivered to my room with relative speed and ease. The beds were nice and although no one came to clean the room while we stayed, it wasn’t really an issue. I was only there for 2 nights, and I’m sure the pandemic has caused them to place restrictions on entering occupied rooms. There was always hot water in the lobby for my tea and a nice continental breakfast in the morning.

Fairfield Inn is a great place to stay.

The people who run this hotel are the best: just great, friendly, fun and amazingly helpful. The gym is phenomenal. Great place to get a real workout. Rooms are fine, nothing amazing but it's a quiet location and no weirdos or bums anywhere near. Win, win!

I was in Decatur, IL for a project spanning five months and needed a hotel to stay at throughout the week. After having some issues at the Residence Inn across the street, I moved over to the Fairfield Inn. The establishment is a little dated and it isn't the most luxurious hotel. But, the staff there more than make up for it. Amanda Parish and her team do a great job of ensuring that the guests are safe and as comfortable as possible. Any issue or inconveniences that I ever ran into at the hotel was addressed within the hour, no matter the time of day. The attention to detail and care that is put into providing their guests the best experience possible is phenomenal.

I'm always greeted with a smile and best possible attitude, every time of the day. Whether I'm coming in from a long day of travel at 1am or whether I'm up early at 5am.

Another great benefit of staying here is the ability to access the 24/7 Snap Fitness across the street.

Overall, I had a wonderful experience here.

Paul Mitchell shampoo and conditioner, those are a plus. It only took 12 swipes for my key card to open my door the first time. The second took 42 tries and a call to the front desk to come unlock it. Good Security? I didn't have time to take full advantage of the room but for $70+ for regular price (I ALWAYS use Priceline) the room was small and uninviting. Compared to every other room I've stayed in this year, it was pretty damn nice. Would Recommend.

There for Farm Festival. The people are very nice and welcoming. Booking same hotel for next years event

We were in town for a family reunion, so we didn't spend much time at the Fairfield, but the time we were there was great. They have a nice pool and the breakfast, which included scrambled eggs and sausage, was a very nice treat before getting back on the road in the morning. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were comfortable and clean. I would recommend this hotel.

Excellent stay, very friendly staff, awesome breakfast...had some vegetarian options, chobani yogurt, hard boiled eggs, fresh fruits, and great coffee. The bed was very comfortable and very quiet room. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. There is a small mall across from the hotel and a bunch of restaurants within walking distance.

Very clean and comfortable. The feather free pillows and comforters were just as good quality as the regular. The staff was pleasant and friendly. The free breakfast was substantial with bacon, eggs, oatmeal, bagels, fruit, and more - not just doughnuts. Definitely will return.

We LOVE this hotel and stay here regularly! Comfy beds, beautiful, clean pool/hot tub area, breakfast is delicious and staff is always very friendly and helpful. Not to mention it’s location is PERFECT! You can walk to a mall, full size movie theater and multiple restaurants to choose from in walking or short driving distance! Stay here! You won’t regret it!

I had previously booked and checked into the Quality in across the street and it was so nasty and full of bugs, went back and got my money back. Now we were without a hotel room. We checked this hotel out hoping that we could get a room and the lady at the front desk named Heather was very understanding and accommodating, she even gave us a discount for our inconvenience and for coming across the street to her hotel. She went above and beyond for her customer. I would definitely come back to this hotel again. Thank you Heather you are the best.

Clean rooms. Staff was attentive. Could use an update

Great place to overnight. Close to 5 or 6 restaurants and has the convenience name brand shopping across the street. Hotel is located right off the interstate exit so easy in and easy out. Applebee's and Texas Steakhouse Pizza Hut right next door. IMPORTANT NOTE: this hotel does not have parking that circles the building...so if you are pulling a trailer or boat you are limited to car size parking and you may have to back up.
