Good Tequila's Mexican Grill

We frequent Good Tequilas a lot. Whether a quick lunch for two or a large group of my family, friends and our kids out for dinner, we are always seated quickly even at the busiest of times. The wait staff is the same staff I’ve been seeing in there for years, and they are quick to take our order and are always very attentive. The food is good and fast, and we have never been let down here! Thank you Good Tequilas for always being fast and reliable! Your restaurant will stay at the top of our list of establishments in the area!

We sat outside and had a wonderful dinner. Staff was friendly and kept our chip bowl full as well as our drinks. Street tacos are delicious and the chicken served in a pineapple looked, smelled and tasted amazing. Tables were super clean and the servers all wore masks. Music is way to loud at lunch.

This place is always super fast service with a smile. The food is excellent, fresh and hot. Never a wait for a seat. They have led lighting in the dining areas Very beautiful and romantic The salsa is perfecto! Large portions often too much to eat in one sitting. Reasonable prices with daily specials. Large variety of food choices. Pictured here, is the chorizo cheese served with tortillas. 24OZ margarita special. Love love love. I always return for more. ❤

The food was great. It is a genuine Mexican place. The food was so tasty and prices were reasonable. Also they served a lot of food.

Delicious food, the steak and cheese burrito was excellent. The service was friendly and very fast. The restaurant was very clean too.

I ordered the Burrito Loco for carryout and it was delicious! The chips and salsa were amazing. If I am ever in the area again, I will definitely come back.

I ordered chicken fajitas with extra pico and guacamole, take-out. Could have used a couple more tortillas because there was So. Much. Food. Tasted really good and fresh. Would definitely get again. With a friend.

Food was good enjoyed the time together

Came here for drinks and a snack after a movie, I had never been before. It's a very nice little place! We had chips and guac while there and I got tacos for later as carryout. All very good!

Love love love this place. Prices are amazing. Large portions. Salsa and queso are always delish. Service is great, food is always hot n fresh!

Edit in 2024. They've gotten so stingy on prices it's no longer worth it.
I ordered 2 large quesos, along with our meals and they charged me $6 for each small chip bag along with $12 for each queso. I thought chips were a given with cheese dip. It always has been for the years I've been coming here!
I know inflation exists but holy cow, the price gouging at what has always been my favorite establishment is absolutely disappointing.
And 2 orders were wrong! They offered me to come back and get the missing parts of our meal, but I was already home so they offered me the meals for free our next visit. I appreciate that, but again all around disappointing!

Pretty decent Mexican food restaurant. Decent interiors and Has lots of space. Ideal for small as well as large groups. Pretty extensive menu. The bar is pretty well set up. Could use an option to order food spicier than usual. Has vegetarian options too.

I ordered chicken Chimichangas. They were very good. The refried beans were not that good. I wish I could have ordered just one because there was way too much food to eat. Staff were friendly.

Best Mexican in Peoria! This is one of our favorite restaurants in our rotation, we go at least once a month. The prices are more than fair, the portions are huge, the food is delicious, and the staff is kind and efficient. At this point I’ve had every server and I’ve never been disappointed. They rarely have a wait, and even when we come with a larger group at meal time we are always seated within 10 minutes. We’ve had many out of town friends and family come here for dinner and they all loved it.

This review is only for the Grand Prarie location I haven’t been to the other locations.

Been coming to Good Tequilas since we moved here from Joliet 3 years ago and this has been a regular go to Mexican joint. When I did drink their margaritas were on point, and the food has always been good. No complaints and im glad I got to make this place a go to while in the Peoria area. I'm moving out of illinois for obvious reasons but I wish Good tequilas and its staff good luck in the future. Thanks for the great food! Ill miss the Fiesta nacho. 😁
