Visited this evening in need of a specific golf grip needed to match a set. The online system showed 6 in stock. Paul was sent to assist me as I couldn’t find it. He looked through the grips and also couldn’t find it. But he didn’t stop. He went into the back room to check. Strike two. Lastly he noticed the 6 were returned a couple of days ago, so he checked the returns. Strike three. So I left with no grip, but I also left with a super customer service interaction. Five stars for sure. Thanks Paul (he even has a cool name)

Great Service. Didn't feel like I was being followed. They asked me if I needed help finding what I was looking for. And they were excellent. My check out person was very professional

I'm here atleast every few months bc of my bike that I bought about 18 months ago now because it's a pedal assist and the brakes get worn pretty quick tho living in Illinois doesn't help much

Great service from all the employees. I went in to find me and my brother a really good baseball glove. They had such an amazing selection for every brand and size hand. They then did the glove steaming. It was super quick and effortless because of how helpful they always are. We also tryed the new batting cage which was actually extremely helpful because they have a bunch of different bats you can try. Would definitely recommend over any other sports store.

FYI: My experience with Dick's Sporting Goods, Peoria IL has been
very positive .... I had ordered a treadmill, which was way to
large for my apartment (misjudged the dimensions) so I went to
the store to talk to the Manager - Mike Donley
He was so very helpful and accommodating ..... He allowed me to
return the treadmill with full credit to my account and Jennifer the cashier helped complete the transaction.
I was so impressed with their Customer Service, I will still shop
there often and tell other people about my positive experience.
The manager is awesome !!!

The manager last Sunday night was so nice & understanding when I did not have my receipt for an item I purchased there. I appreciate people like that & think that we all need to purchase as much as we can in the stores that still exist, or they will close down like the rest of them are starting to do. Thank you kind manager man. : )

Giving a huge shoutout to Frank In the shoe dept for being a extraordinary employee. He didn’t just get the shoes he looked for more and was knowledgeable with the shoes. He also was kind enough to approach us and then make sure we were helped and satisfied with our selections. WAY TO GO!

I don't write many reviews however I had to share that store manager Corey at the Northbrook , Il. store helped me get 2 pairs of shoes to my brother . That doesn't sound like a big deal well I live 150 miles away and my brother is blind and needed help Corey stepped up and delivered the shoes to my brother the next day, I will never forget him saying "I'll take care of your brother" he did . The store manager Corey could have just said NO ... he made an unhappy blind man happy put some shoes on his feet that needed to be replaced long ago but you all know how 2020 was !! Really made me think of how could I help someone else ... great guy and happy to be at work hard to find in retail anymore !!! BIG THANKS TO COREY !!

My son plays travel baseball and during pool play today made an amazing catch and damaged his glove. He was expected to play again Sunday so we ran in around 730pm for an emergency. The employee took extra time to condition and steam the glove for my son to be able to use it. Very much appreciated!!! This Dick's at Grand Prairie took very good care of us.!!!

I just had an amazing experience with Kris in the baseball department. He was very helpful in choosing my 12 year olds glove. He was very knowledgeable and definitely went the extra mile to help us. It’s customer service interactions like this that continues to give me faith in people, and to buy in stores. Thank you so much Kris for all your help! My boy is sooo pumped!! And that makes it all worth it!

Bought Bikes from there. All the bike staff was very knowledgeable, professional and extremely helpful. In particular Sean Nelson who was very patient and extremely helpful In answering questions and explaining things. Will definitely be reaching out to him .

I have 3 boys that play three Sports. Most of our gear and equipment come from Dick's. Sometimes they can be a little pricey but other than that very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

My husband bought me a set of golf clubs and it was so easy to get and cashier was very helpful and polite.
