Green Peapod Thai Restaurant

This was by far the best Thai I've had in the area or maybe ever. Everything was super fresh and so flavorful. The service is impeccable, our server was so friendly and knowledgeable. True hidden gem, can't wait to come back and try more dishes.

Great place! I agree with some of the reviews and the food is a bit sweet, but extremely tasty. Grilled calamari could be grilled/charred a bit more and the film could’ve been removed, but the spices/taste is amazing. Pod Thai is amazing just like Pad See Ew. Definitely a place to stop by for food.

Everyone there is so sweet and everything on the menu is delicious. I've tried numerous things and they also have the best pad Thai ever! You have to try don't waste any time you won't regret going here.

This is my new favorite restaurant! The waitresses were very kind and responsive, even though they were a bit busy when we went in! The food is to die for and the raspberry tea was very good. I got the garlic steak and veggies with jasmine rice and the flavor was immaculate. Thank you guys so much for a great experience, I'll be going here frequently!

I was there for lunch and ordered the chicken pad thai and mango smoothie with tapioca pearls. Met the owner. She and wait staff were very friendly.

Pad Thai was very good. Smoothie was a little bit too sweet (for me). Probably because they did not skimp on the mango.

This place is the best! They offer online ordering, a gluten free menu, and are very accommodating for other dietary restrictions. The food is consistently delicious. Our favs are Pad Thai, Chicken Satay, Crab Rangoon, and Thai Bubble Tea. It might be a bit pricey but we get at least two meals out of each Pad Thai.

I got the red snapper with the medium spicy/sour sauce. It came with white rice but I mixed it with the fried rice. EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS MEAL WAS DELICIOUS!! The flavors, the texture were all on point! Will for sure be a returning customer and telling everyone about it.

Spotless facility, piping hot dishes. Tom yum soup with tofu had just the right amount of heat. Was going to order spring rolls, but they had no shrimp in them, which I am used to. The beef was lean, high quality in the Pad see ew. Had never ordered hot ginger tea it was delish!

This location offers great Thai food that is of good quality and good portions. They have a decent offering of appetizers, lunch meals and dinner options, as well as drinks, shakes and desserts. A lot of the options are spicy, but that comes with Thai food. There are still tasty non-spicy options for the sensitive like me! I highly recommend the Thai tea (mix with whipped cream for best results), Pad Thai and pot stickers.

I really love the food here. The food is delicious and the quantities are generous. I am visiting this place for last 6 years and I am surprised how they maintain the quality and taste. My favourite is basil fried rice. You have ample parking space. Only downside is they take significant time to put together the order. This is the cost you have to pay for the quality and taste of food.

Vegetarian's stop looking, go eat here!

This is hands down our favorite Thai restaurant we have ever had. It is ALWAYS good and we have never had a bad meal or item. Pad see ew, crab Rangoon, pad Thai are always the go to’s. So flavorful and fresh. Absolutely love green pea pod !!!

Got takeout and everything was delicious and has just the right heat. Only issue I had was had to wait 1:45 to pick up food.

It is a good place - good Thai place out of no where

First time ordering from here. The food was beautifully presented, amazing flavor as well. I had pad Thai with grilled shrimp as well as a strawberry bubble tea, 10/10 will definitely be returning

The Crown Jewel of McHenry. The food is perfectly crafted with love and experience. Friendly fun and inviting wait staff. Definitely in my top five of all Thai restaurants in America. P.S. if you want your food spicy-ask for it.

You can't get better Thai food in McHenry county than this place! The Crab Rangoon and Tom Yum is simply the best. Tastes just like authentic food making me feel like I'm back in Thailand... homemade fresh ingredients. Service is wonderful, food never disappoints, and the bubble teas are a treat to go for on the road back home.
