I have been having issues with my shoulder for the past 6 months and went to see Dr. Cummins. He almost immediately help relieve some of the pain and devised a game plan of how to offer me more pain relief in the future. I really like his staff and his confident assessment of my condition. I highly recommend anybody with shoulder issues see him at Illinois Bone and Joint.

Craig Cummins MD walks into the room, he makes you feel like you're not in a doctors office but you're there with a friend who wants to help you. He never in a hurry with you. Listens to everything you have to say. And always has a smile on his face !

Each person I spoke with listened carefully to my concerns and questions, making sure they understood what I was saying, and all of my questions and concerns were answered completely, and they made sure I understood the answers. I feel very lucky to have Dr. Cummins and his team at Illinois Bone And Joint as my caregivers.

Dr. Cummins is amazing!! He showed true compassion and didn't rush me out of the office. He's very calm and precise with listening. It was my 1st visit and I am to have an MRI, so we will see where that takes me.

Dr. Cummins replaced my shoulder last February and this February. Both he and his PA Danny, were very helpful, figuring out what had happened, and what I needed to do about the shoulder. He’s extremely professional, and will sit and answer questions as long as I’ve got questions to ask. I appreciate him, being upfront, and honest with me about consequences, and recovery, and all that. I’d recommend him to anybody, he’s great. So are all the other people in the office. Very thoughtful and compassionate about helping me to get things done.

Dr Cummins surgically repaired a full tear to my rotator cuff 16 months ago. From the first visit, I felt very comfortable with him. He reviewed the MRI with me, and showed me the damage on the screen. From there, his office handled all the surgery scheduling perfectly. I'm extremely happy with the result. He laid out a great physical therapy program for me. I would definitely recomend Dr. Cummins to anyone.

I had a reverse shoulder replacement April 20, 2023 performed by Dr. Craig Cummins and I am glad to report all went well. Great care was taken before, during and after the surgery to ensure the best outcomes and I am doing well in recovery. I am very impressed with the entire process. Both the practice and the surgeon are to be highly commended.

Dr Cummings is an amazing and skilled Surgeon. I had shoulder surgery. I experienced very little pain after surgery.

They do a great job! A little shy of 4 weeks post shoulder replacement by Dr Cummins and I already have as much motion as prior to the surgery but with far less pain. He did my other shoulder in 2019 and it is wonderful. !!!

Dr. Cummins really engages with a patient. I found he and his staff to be very accessible and responsive from my first visit, through my surgery and during rehabilitation. I felt very confident in his approach and treatment.

Dr. Cummins is very professional and friendly. His office personnel also very professional and friendly they’ve done a great job taking care of me. I had a bad rotator cuff tear he is my surgeon did a fantastic job with the repair. I highly recommend him and his staff!

Great experience start to finish. I struggled for a year with another ortho, new x-rays and mri, one simple visit Dr Cummins found the issue, identified the course of action and we scheduled. Surgery went fantastic and I feel great 2 weeks post op and on the road to recovery.

Always professional, friendly staff. Dr Cummins has done 3 joint replacements for me and Dr Oryhon has done two. Very knowledgeable, great bedside manors! Easy to communicate with. I would definitely recommend this group!

Dr Cummins was wonderful. He listen to me n all my details of what I was going thru. He gave me 2 options n the results of both. I was pleased w his Dr handling of my situation. Glad it matched the other patient's review of him in the lobby waiting. Everyone had great comments too. His staff was nice n friendly as well.

Illinois Bone and Joint is top notch and is actually the most organized team I have dealt with. I've seen a lot of doctors offices go downhill especially during the Covid nonsense and, though IB&J may have had a few hiccups, their problems are really not problems at ALL. I wish other offices worked so great as IL Bone & Joint in Barrington, IL. Dr. Cummings and his staff are extremely thorough. I've never felt rushed. I am one of those patients that forgets things and their system has a way to deal with patients like me. I feel bad that the government interferes with the doctor patient relationship. The email system works great and if you need a message to get to a specific person just make sure to specify so. They take feedback very seriously and make improving things their mission. Don't get hurt, but if you do, this is the place.

Had to do a revision repair on my rotator cuff for a prior surgery and did such an awesome job. The pain was less than before and I had more extensive damage on this one to the prior surgery. Driving 45 minutes to get surgery was worth every minute. Great staff that he works with. Thank you for everything, now I have to get ready for therapy.
