David Schneider, DO

Dr. Schneider has been treating me for a lower lumbar spine issue. After discussion on what the best approach would be to help eliminate the debilitating pain I’ve been having he did a procedure that has really helped with my pain. He is a caring Doctor who takes the extra time to discuss your condition with you. He gives you every best option possible that will help heal you. He and his staff are truly amazing in giving you the best care. They all made me feel so comfortable during my procedure, treated me with the utmost respect and were so friendly. I highly recommend Dr. David Schneider, DO as you won’t be disappointed. He is a true professional who is extremely knowledgeable and intelligent in his field

Dr. Schneider is great at listening and using common sense to diagnose the situation and the right solution. He is excellent at being on time for his appointments, so he is fantastic about getting into the doctor and not waiting 30 minutes before he comes in. He comes in on time, every time. And he's so friendly through it all! I'm very glad that Dr. Schneider is my doctor for my spinal issues. The other doctors I see there are just as excellent. I highly rate Illinois Bone And Joint Institute and their doctors.

Dr. Schneider is great. He takes the time really talk to you and answer any questions you might have. He never makes you feel like he’s in a hurry and you’re holding him up. I would recommend him to everyone

I have been seeing Dr. Schneider for several years after I discovered I had four slipped discs in my lower back. He had my x-rays and also my CT scans over the years. He has prescribed physical therapy. And has also given me ultrasound guided spinal injections at either Good shepherd hospital or in his specialty area at his office in Barrington. I have found him understanding, patient, and will explain any procedure in depth to me. He listens to my concerns every time I meet with hi. I am pleased with the results we have been able to attain. Dr. Schneider is amazing, he performed the intracept procedure on my lumbar spine and gave me my life back. Although I have a degenerative condition, I went from being on crutches most of the time to being able to walk 5 miles a day and living pain-free pertaining the lumbar region. He also has a kind and professional demeanor! I recommend him to everyone who has a back problem.

Pain is personal. My Dad had a much greater pain tolerance than your truly.
So, when I went in to Dr. Schneider for a Cortisone injection, I anticipated I would quite possibly be screaming in pain as he injected my bum hip (picture one of those scenes in any number of war movies where they have to amputate some poor guys legs without any pain killers).
I felt Doctor Schneider went out of his way to assuage my fear in an honest, matter-of-fact manner (I’d say he had a great bedside manner).
Whereas I pictured myself needing a general anesthetic to get through this, nothing could be farther from the truth.
The methods he used to mitigate any possible pain worked like gang-busters!
Ever had a flu shot? It might be way more painful than a Doctor Schneider Cortisone injection. In fact, if he thinks I may need a second injection, I will gladly accept it.
