Big Y World Class Market

Sharing my experience for the Franklin, MA location. Ordered a birthday cake for the beginning of the month. Tanya and David were both so helpful, knowledgeable and friendly (great conversations with both of them!) David and I spoke about different frosting colors and which ones to pick so they wouldn't stain your teeth =P Tanya decorated the cake, not only was it moist, tasty & perfect…it was ready wayy before scheduled pick up! Gene was super friendly and helpful blowing up some balloons I had for the party. Overall, I would highly recommended shopping and purchasing items from the Franklin Big Y store! We were undecided on dinner and heard the fish & Chips were good. We ordered a 8 piece fish and family fries & onion rings. The Fish was excellent, chips were also very good, onion rings were passable. Overall I would recommend ordering. Great value and Alex did a great job!

I've been shopping at the Big Y in Franklin for about 10 years. I cannot say enough about the neatness of the store and the helpfulness of the employees.

Kyle who generally works in the deli has always been extremely friendly and always helpful.

Baha, who works as a cashier is always extremely pleasant. In fact, I will intentionally look for her line when I am checking out.

I cannot say enough about how pleasant and helpful Mary on the Service Desk is. It is always a pleasurwe to see her and always takes that little bit of extra time to add to my shopping experience.

Finally, my newest favorite employee is Ashley who works as a cashier. I ended up in her line over the weekend and she was so friendly and talkative. She made me and the customer in front of me, who was checking out feel genuinely appreciated as a customer.

Spilled my lunch all over the aisle like a total geek. A kind employee named Sage came by and cleaned it right away. Props to him I love shopping here for my sauces and spices. I love Sage.

Stopped in to buy some mangoes to make a secret sauce for my family's BBQ. The produce associate, Sage, was so knowledgeable about all the different fruit and helped me pick out the freshest mango in the store! He even shared his best recipe for Mexican rice! Thank you Sage for saving The Kennedy BBQ!!!

CALLED BAKERY ON LAST MINUTE AND DAVE FROM NEW YORK BAILED ME OUT. HIS PROFESSIONALISM AND KINDNESS WENT SO FAR. CAKE WAS AWESOME AS WELL HE DESERVES 10 STARS

I’ve not even left the parking lot yet, but wanted to leave this review. Stopped in today. Rushing around to get cupcakes for my sons birthday party. Tanya in the bakery ( Franklin store ) is absolutely phenomenal! Her customer service is over the top! She could not have been more helpful, friendly, and all around awesome! She is absolutely fantastic. And.

Great place to shop! The employees are really nice and the store is very clean and well stocked. I recommend subs and pizza. Jon is very professional, friendly and fast especially if you are in a rush. Great selection and staff in Bakery and deli, as well. Fast checkout thanks to Raquan who is super friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking. Quiet in store.

Impressed with the range and selection. Slightly larger than my usual Big Y (Milford, MA).

I just LOVE this food store...it's as close to a Whole Foods as you can get...the meat selection is outstanding...butcher shop quality! Bakery is yummy..beautiful AND tastes good! Produce is always fresh! Seafood is terrific...AND after I buy all of my groceries, I don't need to make an extra stop at a liquor store if I want beer or wine. The SELECTION IS GREAT!!!!

I had a world class experience today at the Franklin Big Y bakery! I had forgotten to order a special sheet cake for our retirement party today; yesterday I went to the bakery and spoke with David, the assistant bakery manager, and he told me he could have it ready in 24 hours, which was perfect. The perfection continued when I picked it up today exactly at the time he said it would be ready. Betty, the wonderful cake decorator was putting on the finishing touches which included a photo in icing on the cake!! I wish I could put the photo here! and it was delicious!!! Thank you big Dave and Betty for fabulous customer service - and cake making!!

I have always loved shopping at Big Y. There is a wide selection, good prices, and very friendly staff. This has also been one of the best grocery experiences I have had since the COVID changes were started. They devised a good flow through the store so shopping is less stressful. The staff has also still been exceptionally friendly throughout.

I love Big Y. It's clean--almost shines! The aisles are wide and uncluttered. The food is always fresh -- never out-of-date. Their produce is updated and freshend several times a day. Their organic offerings cover the spectrum. The managers go out of their way to be helpful. The customer service desk goes the extra mile to help. The cashiers remember you, and are always friendly and efficient. Just experience them. You will be happy I am sure!

I love big y. Its now my favorite grocery store. They dont have everything that a huge store has but there bakery is amazing and they have everything they do carry well stocked. Its clean and the employees are so nice. They have eliminated plastic bags so bring reusable bags. They have a small wing bar. The lines aren't super long either.

I've found this to be an outstanding place. Not just a food market, but a one stop. It seems here one can find a wide range of food products. Recently,they've added wine and beer which is convenient when shopping and preparing for the holidays. After shopping , I always have a great lunch because there is so much to choose from in the bakery and deli area. I've also forgot to mention a very friendly and helpful staff. One of them was very helpful putting groceries in the car for my sister and I.

My husband and I do our grocery shopping here every week. We drive past 3 grocery chain stores to go to this store 20+ minutes from us. They have high quality food at reasonable prices. The staff is also fantastically friendly. My only complaint at this location is that they do not train their baggers very well. We often have to rearrange our food at our car. But it's a small issue for how much there is to love about this store.

Best employees, nice set up. I that❤ can perform multiple tasks; errands ; and shop all in one place which is very convenient along with all the positive that I have seen enough store on from the variety of food to the employees and the customer service to the condition of the store it was and still is the only one of the best places I go 2 get things done!

Always very clean, employees are super friendly and helpful. Awesome chicken noodle soup, delicious in store made Bakery Goods, FANTASTIC pizza made on site. Childcare area seems good(I don't have kids but from what I've seen going in and shopping)... Never had a bad experience at Big Y, glad it came to Franklin. Oh and they have Redbox outside!!

Easy to access the parking lot and there's always plenty of parking. The selection of groceries is very good. The beer and wine section is very convenient as well. My only complaint is that Big Y doesn't have any self-checkout lines like Stop n Shop does. They have 1 or 2 electric car charging spots.
