Shake Guys

I could not be happier with either the Shake Guys or the work that they did for me. Originally, I contacted them to provide the yearly treatment for the cedar shake roof on my recently acquired house. Various issues arose and we agreed that replacing to the roof with more sustainable, fire resistant, fabricated materials would be the best choice for my needs. Their patience with the process, the HOA, and weather have been beyond expectations.

Because we had numerous delays from my end, I worked with many of the staff at Shake Guys between my first calls in August 2023 & completion in April 2024. Josh and his team were amazing in their work & interactions with me.They did a beautiful job, left my property in pristine shape, and worked with numerous other trades to coordinate completion in less time than anticipated. I could not be happier. Each contact has been terrific

I would highly recommend The Shake Guys. Our insurance company dropped us because of our existing cedar shake roof. So to get reinsured we decided to go with a composite shake roofing material.This was not an inexpensive project. But Chris walked thru all the options of the various brands and gave us addresses of completed projects to go look at. We chose to go with the Brava Shake as it was the most realistic looking. Sal our PM on the job was also great as was the installation team. All the crew members were polite and VERY hard working. We are extremely pleased with the outcome and this we bevthe last roof the house will need.

Josh F and the Shake Guys crew did a wonderful job. We really appreciated that they replaced our roof at a time that was convenient for us. The cleanup was done without damaging our plants and shrubs. The roof looks beautiful. We also want to thank Max M for his expertise and help in making this project happen. We highly recommend the Shake Guys.

Exactly 1 year ago we had a hail storm that practically exploded many of the cedar shakes on our roof. The roof looked so bad a production company literally contacted us and asked if they could pay us to film a horror/comedy movie at our house. Who are you going to call? Chad T and the Shake Guys. Chad took over communicating with the insurance company so we hardly had to do anything. I’m not exaggerating when I say the insurance company sent 5 crews out to inspect the roof to make sure they would cover it. Chad met with them every time to make sure there was no funny business. He got them to cover the whole project and replace the inferior cedar shakes with hail proof/flame resistant Davinci shakes. They look great and are much safer.
Josh F took over when the installation for the project started. He and his team were incredibly hard working and respectful of our property. I think it took around 8 days in total (it was a large project) and the only day they didn’t work was when there was lightning. I couldn’t believe how fast they were and what a great job they did. The only downside was I felt like less of a man watching them run up the 30 foot ladder with a full stack of shakes while I could hardly move a stack 15 feet on flat ground. Not a bad thing though!
All in all I could not recommend the Shake Guys more. From start to finish you will not find a better company to work with. Thanks Chad T and Josh F and the entire crew! You did awesome!

Josh L was great at working with our insurance company to get the most out of our claim. Josh F was an excellent project manager. He was in communication with us often and completed the project on time. Would highly recommend working with them again and our roof looks great!

I don't review often...but Shake Guys deserves it. Chad helped me a couple years ago with a no cost solution to a leaking roof. I told him I wouldn't do business with anyone but him in the future. When it was time to replace half my shake roof via insurance he held my hand through the process and got an outstanding approval on my behalf. Julio and his crew were exceptional. Shake Guys is a first class organization..,from their personable and knowledgeable salesmen to their hardworking and eager to please project managers. The workers were pleasant, kept the work area clean and did a beautiful job. I had a reason to deal with the top management of Shake Guys and found them to be professional and couldn’t do more to please the customer. I bought a home with a shake roof and wanted to have it inspected before winter. I found a company with decent reviews through Yelp and a guy came out to look at the roof. Apologetically, he gave me the bad news that the roof needed to be replace for approximately $70,000. He said he had no reason to lie to me about it because he was not paid based on sales; he was just a specialist. I almost lost my mind.
My friend suggested I call Shake Guys. Ethan came out and looked at our roof and said it would cost a few hundred dollars to replace some old, splintered shingles. I have used Shake Guys ever since. They are an honest company.

We recently had our roof replaced by The Shake Guys. Everything in this project, from start to finish, has gone well. Chris Paulus, who initially assessed our damaged roof, has been a tremendous help to us throughout the entire process. He was always available to answer questions and to interface with everyone. His expertise, follow-through, and consistently sunny attitude made the experience a pleasant one. Our project manager, Josh F., was on site daily and was always available to answer our frequent questions and texts. The construction crew worked very long hours daily, cleaned up the site every evening, and did a very expert job installing our Da Vinci composite shake roof.
Clearly, The Shake Guys is a very well-run organization. We received several estimates to replace our roof, none of the others gave such a thorough inspection. We very highly recommend The ShakeGuys.

After a recent hail storm, we decided to call Shake Guys and couldn't be more pleased with that decision. Chris P, their roofing specialist, promptly visited and provided his professional opinion on what needed to be done and was a valuable resource in helping us understand the options available and exactly what to expect along the way. Then once the actual work began, our Project Manager, Josh F, did a truly fantastic job. He visited to introduce himself and inspect the area before work began, welcomed and took time to answer questions, and provided daily updates on progress; no matter the issue or concern we had, he was incredibly responsive and dealt with it immediately. The crew showed up early every day, worked long hours and respected our property; the craftsmanship of the entire installation was impressive. Even the administrative office staff were helpful, informative, and a pleasure to work with! We chose a synthetic roofing material from Brava and are so happy with the quality, appearance, and end result. We hope to never need another new roof, but we would choose Shake Guys all over again. Working with Shake Guys was one of the easiest, most accommodating experiences we have had as a homeowner.
