PL8 Restaurant

I don't usually write reviews, but this restaurant deserves a five-star review. I have been to birthday parties a couple of times here and the food was amazing, everything was very fresh, and the sashimi used the highest quality fish that simply melts in your mouth. I don't typically drink, but for the celebration, we ordered some drinks the waiter recommend, and they were extremely good and as you can see from the picture, they look pretty too. Have I mentioned the dessert? We ordered 3 types of dessert, and they were all super yummy. I will be back soon!

My friends and I have been to PL8 in the past and absolutely loved it. Now the new owner has added a lot of traditional Chinese dishes which makes the food even better. The new chef’s special cumin lamb is the best in town. Bo bo beef, spicy fish fillet/beef, basil shrimp/Chicken, and live whole fish are delicious. Recently we tried their sushi dishes, all the raw seafood is very fresh. 👍

Never left dissatisfied, Have always had an awesome server each time I have gone. and Have enjoyed everything I have eaten so far. A tad on the pricier side as far as portion to price ratio goes, but the food is full of flavor and very fresh so definitely worth the price. I recommend this to anyone who wants to try something new.

My boyfriend and I went here to eat for our anniversary and absolutely loved it!!! The staff was so kind and gave us really good recommendations, but what really earned the 5 star review was the drinks!! The bartender, Brandon, made the drinks beautifully and super tasty! Would definitely recommend and will be returning!

Top quality food. Sushi perfect, Garlic beef is my favorite dish of all Asian restaurants.Austin, makes you feel right at home, friendly, witty, makes eating out a fun time.

Place has amazing food. My go to place for delicious food in the area. Best thing is they have both Asian inspired dishes along with Sushi so you get the best of both worlds. The red dragon roll there is bu far my favorite there.

This is a good fission Asian place. The Chong Ching noodle soup was good and the fish in it was excellent. The sushi was very good and had an interesting twist to it

Been here several times and all the dishes and service very good, dishes include green beans, garlic, black pepper beef tenderloin, spicy chili fish, Thai basil shrimp, Chong Ching noodle soup, and various sushi dishes

Had dinner with my girlfriend at Pl8 last night. The service was great! The sushi is not what it used to be but the manager was very nice and accommodating. He offered to make some of the savory rolls they used to make. PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD SUSHI MENU! This new sushi menu is like Jewel sushi. I am giving you 5 stars because the service and atmosphere were phenomenal not to mention the awesome drink menu. Best old fashioned I have ever had. Our server Ariana did a great job too. She was very knowledgeable. Since we couldn't get some of our old favorites we ventured out to try some Chinese food instead of sushi the dry chili chicken and the Sichuan string beans were very good. We'll be back but please bring back the old sushi menu.

Excellent food and service. If you are looking for in the area Asian food with good ambience and service this is the place to be.

Celebrated our anniversary with the kids and had great food. Started with Spicy Edamame, Veggie Lovers Roll (Kids wiped it out) and Spring Rolls. We then went for the LoMein, Kung Pao Tofu and Fried Rice.

Great Beers and Wine selection too.

We ate here last month and it wasn’t very crowded- we don’t know why- the food and service is outstanding. We had a sushi app that was so flavorful and we split Pad Thai which was better than any Thai restaurant I’ve eaten at. Our server Yvonne was the best. We love this place and hope more people will try it because it’s so good and not extremely overpriced like nearby places that are harder to get a reservation for.

Truly enjoyed the food. Great service. Quality sushi. Enjoyed the cocktails.

This place is a must try. Foods on point. The staff super personable and it's always nice to see an owner that not only cares about the food but also the people eating it. Alterations to the menu not a problem, sauce change...they have many. Nothing on this menu is typical, everything has an exciting flavor twist. My favorite example of that is the spicy edamame. You must give it a try. Nothing on their menu sucks and when you are there....you are surrounded by regulars. Both because of the menu and definitely because of the way they treat their customers. LOVE this place.

Everything was absolutely delicious, and Talia is such a pro. 7pm Valentines reservations, and everything came out quickly and delicious. I've already told my partner that I want to come here for my birthday!

Very inviting place, with speedy and pleasant service. Small place are great choice if you just want to munch on something. Nice selection of wine and other spirits.

Overall just a really good spot. Great food and an even better atmosphere. The service was prompt and it was just a great experience overall :)

We had Clovey as our server and she was beyond amazing. Best server we’ve ever had. She was so attentive and friendly and recommended some great food and drinks for us. I will definitely come back all the time just for her! The food was great as well but so impressed with the service from Clovey.
