I had their delicious 🤤 Burrito 🌯 Pastor that came with lettuce 🥬 cheese 🧀 beans 🫘 tomato 🍅 avocado 🥑 and cream. The burrito was very authentic and packed I enjoyed every bite. Along with their salsa’s! 💃 WOW!! 🤩 Better than store 🏬 brand. Also their home made crispy fries 🍟 were very delicious 😋 crispy man oh man 😥 I enjoyed every bite. 🥰

Despite it being very busy the waitress was able to take our order and give us our food in no time. I was astounded in how fast the food came out despite their restaurant being packed with people every table was taken.

Small little restaurant in downtown Batavia. Always very delicious food. We usually get the chicken enchiladas and burrito- so delicious. Only reason I gave the “atmosphere” part of this review only three stars is that the place does need remodeling and just an overhaul of the interior. Otherwise great food and very nice service.

The food here is always phenomenal and the staff are always attentive, polite, and react quickly to your needs. The prices are affordable as well. I recently had a milenesa torta for lunch. It was served quickly on a fresh bun with spicy jalapenos. The milenesa was tender, piled on, and cooked to perfection.

The food is amazing here. It's always busy. It's been awhile since the inside was updated but that is not why I've been going there for over a decade. It's a Family run business that is committed to quality food. I've never seen the cook but BLESS THAT Person!

Tried this place for the first time and left feeling like we've missed out all these years/why didn't we go sooner. Flavorful, affordable food. We enjoyed the marinated steak torta, authentic tacos and hot sauces.

This place is a gem. The tacos, tortas, burritos and everything else is delicious. It’s also a great place for kids, the servers are very understanding and friendly. Also, get the fries, you wouldn’t expect it at a taco joint but they’re amazing.

We found this Mexican food teasure when visiting our financial Advisor, Timberland Financial Batavia. The food is consistent, flavorful, and authentic. They make their chips and the warm salsa is incredible. The ultimate is their cucumber margaritas. It is refreshing and smooth. This is the place to enjoy GREAT food reasonable prices and a very memorable margarita!

Restaurant is clean. Food is good, chicken isn't dry. Just wish they would serve limones on the side and maybe some jalapeños. Orchatas good to not to sweet.

Really excellent al pastor tacos! The salsa that comes with the complimentary chips and salsa has chipotle flavor and comes served warm. It is very good! Loved the Michelada, too! Would definitely come back.

this is my favorite mexican place in kane county. everyone saying the portion size is too small likes taco bell. don't listen to them. if youve ate real mexican food before you know what to expect

The food and service here are great. The ladies that run the front are extremely welcoming every time come in. My only complaint is the portion size-- they could stand to give you a bit more for the cost. Otherwise, I genuinely love this place. El Salzon is one of my go-to restaurants.

Holy moly !! The food was so fresh so tasteful! I got a pulled chicken quesadilla with rice and cheese and it was really perfect. Juicy, tasteful, and super hot and fresh! The girlfriend got 3 tacos Mexican style and her eyes lit up !! Happy wife happy life she thought the food was very good, fresh, hot, and very tasteful! Also the side of rice was so steamy and warm it melted in my mouth . Even the service was fast and friendly.. wow thank you 🙏

Just found this restaurant. They have wonderful food to meet my vegan needs. Very tasty!

Love that they have outside seating. Steak torta was great and the hortchata hit the spot on a hot day.
