Wonderful trails and walking paths. The natural beauty that can be seen is fabulous. Various native wildflowers bloom everywhere, and several photographers have used this park for wildflower images. The birds and natural fauna are also a joy to behold. I really enjoy this park and I'm so glad our neighborhood has this gift of nature.

Another nice forest preserve in Lake County with paved or crushed stone walking trails and slight elevation changes.

Went here for the better of the whole 2019 summer. The creek that runs along this park has some of the biggest fish I've seen in my life so far. Great fishing spot. My old pal caught a 11-15lb fish here.

Parking lot is a trail head for various hiking trails along Flint Creek. Washrooms on site. Two very nice tennis courts for the tennis crowd and a play ground for the kids. Very nice facility

The playground here was recently renovated (in the last year or so) there is even a free splash pad area! I like that they have unique playground equipment, like a modern version of the old playground spinners and a sit on zipline. There are different play areas here depending on age. The area for younger kids is actually sized perfectly for the littler kids. Great squishy rubbery playground floor (I like that there is no mulch or bark to get stuck in shoes and makes it easy for kids going barefoot from the splashpad area). Finally, there are lots of shady places to sit.
