Great food great people!! We ate at the Pepe’s in Waukegan Illinois on Greenbay Road!

Took my mom to meet my daughter & her husband near their home for dinner, they chose Pepe's. Plenty The staff are so nice, our waiter had a sense of humor that had me cracking up. Restaurant was nice, clean and colorful & the food was delicious (the Mole sauce here was amazing!!!)! I will happily meet them there again soon!!!

So excited to find a Pepe's to visit. Very few left within our driving range. Food and service were great.

This is the best Pepe's around. You can try the other franchise locations but they pale in comparison. The family and familiarity of the Batavia establishment goes above and beyond. We've been coming to this location for over 20 something years and will continue to as long as they're there.

Best Mexican food in the area that I've been to yet. The people who work here are really awesome and nice people. Drinks are loaded of that's what you are here for but for me it is the food. The food is great it is authentic Mexican cuisine and the flavor is amazing. I wish I knew that I had a Pepe's so close to home. This is my new favorite Mexican food place . It's not just the food it's the people and the atmosphere they are both great and this place is amazing. Thank you Pepe's for the great time and the amazing food!!!

Pepe's always delivers as a solid tex mex joint. Their margaritas are the best in town and the taco dinners are a filling meal.

The Best Pepe’s! Always have great Cadillac margaritas! Hospitality of staff is amazing, we drive 30 minutes to go here for food and drinks.

Went here with a large group for a birthday. They were very accommodating of all of us and created a real familial atmosphere. Granted that probably had something to do with them knowing some of the party, but it was still nice. The steak quesadilla and margarita were good too.

Made a big comeback. Steak tacos burst in your mouth with perfect balance of onions, cilantro and steak. Guacamole is hard to beat. I can't leave Pepe's without a 20oz cup of their salsa. Prices are right on. If you dismissed them, it's time to go back. 1/2 price margaritas Tuesday And Thursday goes great for quick cocktail or a long dinner with friends.

Ate on the pleasant patio and food was delicious and ample -- better than when we were here a number of years ago. Fair prices and good services. We love neighborhood places!

I grew up with Pepe’s in Woodridge and throughout the last few years of living in Naperville, I also frequented that location. I love their beef tacos and margaritas. We recently moved to Batavia and I was excited to find a Pepe’s nearby. I wondered if it would live up to what I have known and loved all these years. I went to dine in last night with two friends who are also Pepe’s fans and we were so happy to have such a wonderful experience! The staff were so nice and attentive. The salsa at this location was our favorite ever - so fresh - and the goblet margaritas were delicious. We also loved the updated look of this location. Can’t wait to go back!

I just stopped by for a menu but I found out that they still sell the Mexican beef stew. It was always awesome as I remember it. With a whole jalapeno in the middle of the stew. And it was the beep stew, not the menudo. Don't order the menudo because it is a Mexican dish with weird meat. I think they only serve it in the Oswego location

Great place. Not your trendy traditional Mexican place, but more reminiscent of good oldies like Chi Chi's and OTB. I love it. Relaxed happy place to eat great food. Prices very reasonable too.

BEST Pepes we have ever been to. A lot of food. The steak was moist and tasty. Stuffed tacos were loaded. A lot of specials also most days of the week. Out for a Sunday drive, stop in for Modelo 2.99 a bottle in a frosty glass. Yum yum.
