Pop's Italian Beef & Sausage

Abraham the GM was very accommodating even though we came in right before close. The food was great the service just as good. We live out west but will come back to have a Pops Italian Beef. Highly recommend this location for the people and the food.

Awesome place to go for a quick, easy, and simple meal. It is definitely a step up from Fast Food, and yet cheaper than most Fast Food places.

Especially for Weiner Wednesday. Get a hotdogs and fries for a couple bucks! Can't beat it.

The worker was very polite and nice, even suggested a few things too.

Clean place, atmosphere was simple and solid.

Food was delicious and plentiful. They did not shy away from the fries, and the hotdogs were great!

I will be returning for more of their great food!

It's all around awesome. Great food, phenomenal for the price, friendly staff, and way too clean for a hot dog joint. Went in hungry, left happy.

Pops beef slaps!! The beef is delicious! Nearly on par with Al's original beef on Taylor St. And that's just the beef. The chili cheese dog is insanely good too. The Fries? Forget about it!! All around Deeeeelicious!!!

I had a Gyro. Fresh, delicious and warm. Just the right temperature. Attentive person took the order. Music a little loud. TV on without sound. That does not make sense to me. I would return and have eaten at this Pop's many times.

Amazing fresh hot mix (single serve and large take home portions)! These guys know how to put a beef sandwich together. Dogs, sausage, and chicken is great too. Top notch fries. Bring the family in to sit down or blast in and out on your lunch break. Lunch specials daily.

This is one of the top beef joints for Chicago style food in the area! I've been eating here since it opened years ago! They give you a lot of fries too!

Had beef sandwich. Beef sandwich was pretty good. Cheese wasn't melted. Fries were hard as a rock look like they cooked them twice to keep them warm

This particular pop's location doesn't have much by way of decor, or it doesn't feel that way, but does that really matter? The meat is flavorful and juicy, the fries are crisp, and the service is quick. Delicious.

Very pleasant, clean environment, and I love their crunchy french fries.

Omg what else can I say ?? Pops beef in my opinion is even better than Portillos and that's saying alot , because Portillos is also fantastic ! Pops is so so tender and not over cooked and wrinkled like it's been in the pan too long . It's so fresh n delishious every time . I haven't come across a bad sandwich yet . The fries are thin n crispy , best ever , but I like them thin . Haven't had anything else from there but why would I ?? Lol They're a famous beef place for a good reason !! Maybe someday I'll try something else on the menu but for now I'm satisfied with their beef !! If you like a great beef , I'd try it !! The bread is very good so if u like it dry , or super soaked like I do , it's all good ! They have hot or sweet peppers as well , cheese too if you like !

Ordered the gyro sandwich. I ask for it to be well done. I like the crispness on thd edges of the gyro strips. Only place that does this well! Love it. Also took home a quart of cream of chicken soup. Fantastis tastes like Rosemarie! Large chunks of chicken too!

The Gyro and fries are always enjoyable there. It's nice to know you can count on the quality to be consistently good. Even my finicky kid likes their food, except for tomatoes this week. Which is saying something. The people are friendly too.

Unfortunately, somehow the a lot of 🍟 seem to disappear when the teenager is bringing them home 🏡. But I chalk that up to them being so good. Thanks Pops for a no cook night. 😁

Everyone from front of the house to the line cooks always work so hard!!! I enjoy seeing them every time I come in. They always do their best to prepare food fresh and right! Will continue coming again and again!

The woman taking my order got my order correct. She told me the zucchini fries were a good choice and she was right! The food was delicious and portions were generous. Tables were cleaned at least twice while we ate.

Excellent! Very good and very Chicago. Portillos has turned its back on the Chicago tradition but Pops is going strong

Love the atmosphere of the place, very homely and cozy which is all due to the decor and especially the staff, who are very kind and welcoming.
I've never had a problem with the staff or food.

Some really good food here. Made fresh while you wait.
