This place is the Best!! Been coming here for easily 30 yrs!!!! Won't be disappointed!! Great atmosphere .you have to pay at the counter..nothing fancy about this place but the service is great and the food is delicious

Great food! We were coming from the Christkindlmarket in Aurora which was way too cold to eat outdoors so we decided to find a spot nearby to get a bigger dinner since there were 6 of us. I personally had the shrimp tacos and definitely appeared to be homemade corn tortillas and thought they were great. We all had something different and even my 8 year old boy said everything smelled so good. The waitress was very friendly, and always came to check on us to see if we needed anything else. I wish I got the name of the waitress because I would put it here but I can't recall. Either way, I highly recommend it if you're in the area.

We ordered Menudo and it was perfection! Will be going back again and again!!!

This is the second time I've been here in about a year.
I only order 🫔.
I was looking for a place to go for 🫔 after going to 26th st El Milagro in Chicago. Milagro has been skimping on quality for me & I don't live near there so I gave this place a try.
I like the tamales.
The horchata was a little sweet but nothing a little ice couldn't fix.
The owner/cashier was welcoming & I'm not mad about it.
The pricing is a little high but you know, inflation.

Great food, wonderful vibe and excellent service. Next time I'm trying the soup with shrimp serviced I'm a large glass. I'm not sure what it's called but two people in my group had it and said it was delicious! (It looked like a ceviche /bloody Mary)Just go. Now.

Amazing spot !! This is authentic!! Need to try their tacos de Birria! Duper good!! Horchata was very good too!! Service was great our waitress made us feel comfortable. You do have to pay at the counter though

We were searching for brunch after an appointment in Aurora, and found this place. Happy we did. Homey vibe, emphasis on the food. Most of the other customers were speaking Spanish, an endorsement for us.
We were pleasantly surprised at the free chips and salsa (two kinds) while they prepared our entrees. One of the salsas was quite spicy, but so good we finished it.
We had the huevos con chorizo and huevos divorciados — both excellent, with huge portions. Enjoyed both the corn and flour tortillas, hand-made.
With that and a horchata, our tab came to just $32 — if we’d been served the same for $50 in one of the tonier places in the Loop, we wouldn’t have complained.

They have great tacos and tortas and breakfast unfortunately I haven't taken any pictures . The waitress was very friendly and my food was up quickly. Oh!! By the way they have some great salsa with chips and this amazing avocado 🥑 salsa, delicious and a little spicy.

Came in for lunch with my Familia on a Sunday. Had the fish fry and Birria estilo Jalisco. The food is freshly made and hot once it comes to your table. It's very delicious and one of my favorite things is hand made corn tortillas. The staff is friendly, they make you feel like your one of the Familia. Absolutely my favorite Mexican restaurant in Aurora!

The food is fantastic and comes in large portions. There are so many great options to choose from, all at great prices. Also, amazing service! The waitresses are all super friendly and attentive. Can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend

Well, to begin with, the place is very nice, they serve you very well in that place, they are very attentive to you, the food is super delicious, with very good seasoning. I highly recommend that place, and it is also economical.😊

My boyfriend and I were visiting Aurora, during Christmas weekend, and we both spotted this restaurant from across the street in the downtown area, and boy were we happy that we decided to eat there, very clean, waitress very friendly, food was very delicious and very filling, I highly recommend this restaurant!

The service was amazing, I was greeted right away & served salsa & chips. My food came quick & even the beans were seasoned well. My margarita was amazing! Highly recommend this place!

I had food to go. Service for take out was quick and easy. Food was excellent.

I really want to sing my praises for this place. Everything I tried from the salsa, to my enchiladas, the marguerita, and dessert was so flavorful and delicious. I was there for a birthday, so we had a bit of a large party with somewhat complicated requests for splitting the check and our server took care of us like a pro. They also put on a birthday song and brought out a little flan with a candle for the birthday girl which was such a sweet gesture. Was blown away by the food and staff and I intend to come back asap.

The Lomo en Chile de Arbol was incredible! I ordered it without beans. Friendly staff, delicious food.

Very authenticate! Food is so good. Staff is really friendly. Location is in a great place to walk through Aurora.
