McHenry dam is beautiful and one of my favorite places to walk,fish bike.Today is March 3rd 2024 we took a 2 mile walk and enjoyed the Beauty of the dam and got lot's of fresh air.Breath taking in every way!!! We love coming here!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent hike/ biking paths, every visit is like a new experience in a familiar place. Because you never know what you will get to see with nature. But it's always a peace time. If you are looking for a peaceful place this is it. Lace up you sneaks and come find out for yourself ❤👍

Good fishing, picnicking, walking spot. Bathrooms onsite. Small little store with fish bait and whatnot. Friendly for all ages.
