Uber One Eats take out order. Beef Lo Mein, Dragon Lo Mein, Beef & Broccoli. Beyond steaming hot. Enough to maintain temperatures for a 30-minute drive home. Extremely fresh, portions are very generous consistent.

It's really great last-minute meal preparation storage.

If you're looking for the perfect dinner and show experience go to the Fox Lake Classic Cinemas theater . Then go across the street to the Golden Dragon Chinese restaurant . It's definitely old school and the place looks like it's still stuck in the 1970's . But the food and service are worth the trip. The prices are reasonable and the portions are very good. The hostess and server named Mei is very talented , exceptional and amazing . Her counter person named Andy is also polite with manners and courteous . Their Egg Foo Young is the best I ever tasted . I highly recommend the sampler appetizer platter. I enjoyed the Princess Chicken very much . You get a great portion . I also like the bowl of rice and sauces . There are no circuses like music or tv. The dining room is old fashioned . The bathroom is average . But the food and service will delight and excite you for a night out on the town . There are probably more take out orders than dine in. And that's just how I like it. There are enough tables to be comfortable without and crowds . It was a very enjoyable dining experience . I look forward to the next time to dine at the Golden Dragon of Fox Lake , IL. The hostess and server named Mei will treat you with kindness and respect. She made my day ! Its hard to find good authentic chinese food anymore. This place has it! Food was excellent. I got it to-go, so I am not sure about atmosphere and service.. but the food is excellent!

Love their food. The staff is quick to answer the phone when placing an order. They even have a website, which is easy to use. Husband loves their Hunan chicken, and the lo mein is delicious! Located in downtown Fox Lake by the train tracks.

Definitely get more food then what you pay for.

I love this place! They have the Best egg rolls! I keep trying Chinese food at other places, all over the midwest and some are good but no one is better. I have made it a Christmas tradition to eat from here for about 15 years and still love it. Chicken fried rice, egg foo young, sweet n sour chicken or pork. It's all good, good portions, fair prices.

Excellent Food!! The food tastes like it was made with Love and Care . Don't let the interior fool you, yes it may look boring inside, the food is well worth it! My girlfriend and I had the egg rolls, pot stickers, curry chicken, Mongolian beef, and chicken fried rice... Yes we totally pigged out. Everything was spot on better than I expected. We will be coming back to Golden Dragon for sure. Right on the corner in a little cool looking building.

I had never been here before but had to try it. They gave you large portions. I ordered General tso's chicken and chicken fried rice for dinner, it had generous portions of sauce and not alot of vegetables and it didn't get me sick like the other places it tasted fresh better then many Chinese places I been to in Wisconsin or Illinois.

This is a great place to dine. The restaurant has been open for 37 years and is ran by 4 sisters. I would suggest the Mongolian beef or sesame chicken. Fast friendly service. And it's always comforting when you walk in and hear 70/80s rock and roll.

Excellent fried rice and egg foo. My favorite dishes. Great service. Friendly staff. Super prices. Under new management and doing a GREAT job !!! Try it, you will love it. Our shop is 5 minutes away so we really like to support our local businesses.

Wow, a Chinese place with a very friendly Casey. Place is clean , but best is the actual food. Not greasy , tasty too. I always get fried rice, loaded with pork, also get sweet and sour chicken, egg foo young , pork lo mein. You really will be surprised at the good flavor and quality. We always order the house made egg rolls , which are really jumbo egg rolls, freshly fried and hot yummmmmmy!!!!

This place is the longest standing restaurant in Fox Lake. I’ve lived by this place every since I was a kid and every other restaurant has only lasted a couple of years.

Your typical Chinese food place. Good food and a great staff! I get take out from here often and I have never been disappointed. I have also eaten in their dining room a few times. Small place, but service was excellent.

Good Chinese food that is just what you'd expect when looking for inexpensive, fast and tasty. We especially loved the fried rice. Ordered for takeout and everything was on time and correct in the order.

The food was dilish and SUPER YUMMY. i definitely recommend. There lady waitress, Vic was a good at waitressing but had a bit of an attitude. Over all, very nice place. Hope to get Vic as waitress again.

Love there food I love that there is less staff and better quality ingredients

Very nice people at the front desk patient and helpful with any question about the dish or ingredients, nothing special about the menu but the food was delicious and ready in decent time, will recommend and definitely go back again.

Just ordered Fried Shrimp. Plain Lo Mein Noodles and BBQ Ribs. Amazing job. Inexpensive too

I loveeee golden dragon, they alwayss give so much on portion its worth the price! Its always so hot and yummy, we order from them very often!!
