SisCo is fantastic to work with. I was referred to Iowa City during a really scary time of my pregnancy and Tamee A. helped calm me and let me know that my referral was allowed and that I didn't need to worry about anything with my insurance at the time. I was able to focus on my baby growing inside of me and myself, which was very helpful during such a stressful situation.

Thanks Sisco!

I have been on the SISCO Benefits plan for several years now. Anytime I have a question around my medical plan like my deductible or provider options, their customer service team is always extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to answer all of my questions.

The reps are always available to answer my questions, quickly and expertly. They were really helpful with completing a reimbursement for medical equipment covered by my plan and made the process easy.

If you are reading this run from this company! They are basically a scam of insurance. They will sell you this awesome line of insurance that doesn’t work. Their customer service and management teams can’t even answer your questions such is how is my deductible met. They take forever to even get you a half way answer. They never follow up or return your calls. So basically they give you no support. They do not pay claims fast so be ready to fight off collections. They don’t pay correctly and try to say everything is out of network even though you made it in network. They have funky clause in their policies and expect you to know it. Such as 1-5 PT is paid in full but 6-40 is paid at 80% but standard of care for PT is typically 8-10 visits so you get stuck with a copay! It’s a joke. It’s about. As fake of insurance as the sales lady Sharon. You can’t turn them on because they are just an overseeing company so the only way to urn them in is through department of labor which is your business getting audited first. Just run!

If I could give a 0 star, I WOULD. This company has just decided that I’m not married. Even though, I most definitely am. I will be filing a lawsuit ASAP. You cannot just choose to deny someone coverage, when I’ve provided you five different times now with my very much legit marriage license, that is stamped by a notary, signed by the judge, and very clearly lists the courthouse phone number where you can SIMPLY CALL AND DISCOVER THAT: I am married.

Suing. I don’t care how long or how difficult that might be, this is illegal to deny coverage to someone for a reason that is false.

I would not even give them one-star rating. This company is the WORST company I have ever encountered. Bad business all around. They haven't paid my providers in over 9 months, and my PCP has actually forced me to self-pay at any visit. Another doctor has put me in collections and canceled my upcoming appointment. Not only are they ruining my long-standing relationships with my doctors, but now also ruining my credit. Their customer service department is horrible. Don't EVER work with this insurance company!!!!

I don’t know how this company is even legally in business. The absolute worst insurance, they bill you absolutely everything even if it’s clearly covered on your plan, so prepare to spend hours on the phone with people who have no idea what’s going on in their own company.
The employer is moving back to FL Blue after multiple employees complained and were left in tears because of this “insurance company” .
I can’t imagine they’ll be in business for long!

Horrendous. Took them 10 days from the time I submitted claim via Email. No online submittal. until they scanned it in. Flex plan submittal. They wanted to know all the codes. Never in 20 years have I had to submit codes. Lucky, the company that bought us will have a real insurance and Flex125 in place, where you use the card.

If I could leave 0 stars I would.
First of all NONE, absolutely NONE of our local medical facilities and practices have heard of this insurance. It's like Scamway but in medical insurance. You literally have to call for every little thing because they refuse coverage. They have even gone as far as saying they don't know who the folks in the family are and threatened to refuse coverage. Yes the same people you put in on your open enrollment forms.

If your employer is thinking of going with this insurance. Beware. It's only been 3 months into the year we still got another 9 to go

Horrid! 4 months of excuses for an FSA claim for the dentist, and they denied it! Last time I checked, a dentist was medical and covered under FSA. They're in violation and a formal complaint was filed with the state.

Not a good experience. Vicki the representative was very pleasantly rude. She did not want to except that I did not need any of the insurance they were offering. I opt out of them all. She still signed me up for insurance after telling her more than one time that I needed no insurance I said no to all of them. So beware and check into what coverage your paying for.

My former employer used this company as a third party benefits administrator for the 5+ years I was there. They were simply awful to work with!
Customer service was often unprofessional, sounding like they were talking to a "buddy". A number of times, they wouldn't know the answer to the question asked. Sometimes, the representative would give their personal opinion. When questioned about their answer, which seemed unreasonable, they would get defensive. Other times, they would use the excuse that they were the "administrator" and that it was up to my insurance company to determine. The problem was that when contacted directly by myself, my insurance company would refused to speak with me and refer me to the "administrator".
One time, I had to insist the Sisco representative stay on the line with me while contacting my insurance company, so that I can get an answer to a simple question.

When I found a new provider, I went above and beyond to verify they were in network. The provider called Sisco to confirm as well. After 3 visits, I received an EOB, stating the services were not covered because the provider was "out-of-network".

To make a long story short, after a number of months of consistent interactions with Sisco, countless hours spent on the phone, waiting on hold to then go through a lengthy self-identification process and start explaining my story from scratch every single time, I involved my HR department and finally got my $500+ back, but I felt I should have been reimbursed for the wasted time and energy.

This was just one of the many awful experiences I had with this company. I had heard similar stories from colleagues. as well.

Just called the customer service and got the most unpleasant and rude rep on the phone.

I was asking her questions about a claim and immediately realized that she wanted to get the phone done in a hurry. With each question I asked she her tone was getting more impatient and irritated.

I hope it’s the last time I have to deal with this pathetic customer service.

Awful. 1st they denied my claims as non-covered when they were covered services. I called, they reprocessed. THEN they went back and re-denied them stating the doctor was not in network when I had checked before going to see her if she was or not. So I call again and they once again reprocess my claims. Finally they don't apply the balances to the correct deductible. Because of the wacky tiered system I have 3 deductibles- 1 is the lowest 3 is the highest. Well you can imagine where they wrongly applied. Another call and finally 6 months later my claims are hopefully processed correctly but its hard to tell on the EOB because they include co-pays with the deductible and you have to know what to subtract out for it to all add up.

If you apply to a job ask what insurances are offered, pricing and coverages. If they say SISCO Benefits RUN as fast as you can. You’re better off paying out of pocket. Either way you will be in debt with medical bills in addition to credit issues if you don’t work something out with providers.

It’s very difficult to even find a Primary Doctor or even a Clinic to accept the “insurance.” It is humiliating to even have to constantly explain the insurance. It’s not a good feeling to think you have insurance when in fact nothing is ever covered. Seems to me more of a scam. It’s no wonder employers love this and make you believe the little HSA cards they give you for to “help” with copays etc is for your benefit when in fact your employer has every intention of recouping those guaranteed unused funds that do not rollover.

Shame on them all. Reap what you sow!

There was no insurance, you had to pay for all your visits to the doctor and you received all the bills. This is not a good idea for insurance.

CAN'T SEEN TO SPEAK TO A REAL PERSON. AUTOMATED SYSTEM WILL SEND YOU AROUND IN CIRCLES, THEN DISCONNECTS YOUR CALL. NO WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
