What a pleasant surprise! Our server William was amazing! So attentive, kind, and had great recommendations! They had just updated their menu when we went and it was hard to decide what to get. We got the mascarpone ravioli, shrimp scampi, and the breaded chicken in a lemon cream sauce. Everything was so delicious and piping hot! We got the chocolate layer cake for dessert. We ate so fast we didn’t get photos of our meals, but I added a photo of the dessert. We will definitely be back!

The food was amazing and beautifully plated. Eleni was our server and was so sweet. She complimented my husband's childhood cancer ribbon pendant. We told her how our son has leukemia. She wanted us to enjoy our night out alone and comped our desserts and even let us take one to go for our son. She also gave us some after dinner drinks that they make in house.

My mother and I came here and our expectations were far exceeded! Cernbando was our server this evening, he was so friendly and took great care of us. Our food was probably the best I’ve ever tasted in the greater Chicago area, we will be back! 12/10 highly recommend!!

Amazing, amazing, amazing. The food is phenomenal. Authentic, fresh and delicious. Not to mentioned the service. Virginia is astonishing, she is very attentive, friendly, fun and knowledgeable of everything that is on the menu. The wait staff is also very friendly. Eric, the manager will make you feel right at home. All around awesome experience. If you are hesitant of visiting this establishment here is your sign to go. You will not be disappointed.

Dining here was a wonderful experience. Our server, Veronika, had great recommendations and seemed to know the menu extremely well. The food left nothing to be desired, I recommend the Pollo Milanese, and we are definitely coming back !

Servano and Ivan were amazing. They were attentive without hovering, they were timely and friendly. The food was delicious and I was excited for every bite.

What a great local place. We tried everything. Ordered lentil salad, beet salad, bronzino, risotto, chicken, and desserts. Everything was delish. I even got Angels Envy rye neat. Could not have been better. Ivan was our server and he was great! The atmosphere was a blast. Familial but not in your face. Relaxed and fun! I recommend this place over and over again

One of our favorite spots around. We always receive great service (shout out to Julio) and the entire staff is very attentive. The food is incredible - we’ve never had a bad dish. The chef is always willing to modify a dish or accommodate your tastes - it feels like high class dining in a welcoming environment.

Everything was too delicious, every bite I tried. Elini attention was impeccable at all times. It's definitely my new favorite restaurant.

Ivan did a fantastic job serving my girlfriend and I. The food was delicious, and the service was top notch. Very impressed by the ambiance and atmosphere in and around the restaurant. Will absolutely come back the next time I’m in Barrington.

We came here for my Dads birthday on a Monday night and had Julio as our server. He was wonderful and so accommodating. The food was excellent. We will definitely be returning.

Party of seven for a birthday dinner—everyone raved about their meals! Ambience A+. Friendliness of staff A+. Menu choices A+. The gluten free menu provided plenty of great options, and a birthday treat at the end of the meal was a great way to end a perfect evening! Our server, Veronica, was delightful and accommodating. Will definitely return to this location!

First time being here. Excellent food & service, especially our server Virginia. She was very sweet & very patient with us (was here with my niece from Japan & needed to translate things here & there). We filled up our tummies with our lunch, we couldn’t have dessert 🥺 Gotta come back here for dessert!!! Lastly, thank you Virginia for your great service ♥

Perfect spot for a nice lunch date or dinner date. Delicious classic Italian fare that is well executed. Modern elegant ambience. Good traditional service.

Eleni was absolutely fantastic. So personable, attentive, and knowledgeable. Apparently, she had just started, but it felt as if she had worked here for a decade. Wonderful service, food was incredible, and the dining room was was clean, inviting, and full of natural light. Eleni was amazing with our baby as well! Highly recommend coming here! We will be back (and requesting Eleni).

We love it here. If you want quality, fresh, and just really good Italian, you have to try Francesca. My brother had his wedding reception here, and we’ve been coming here (a bit if a drive from buffalo grove) ever since then. Amazing food, exceptional service. Our server Virginia was amazing as always- her recommendations are always on point! Thank you, Virginia for the complimentary dessert for our birthday lunch! (tiramisu is also super delicious!)

Virginia and David were fantastic hosts. Food is unbelievable as well as the service. This restaurant has ruined all Italian restaurants in the surrounding area with great service and authenticity. Will be back for sure. We ordered the Risotto special and the Pollo Milanese which were both 5 stars. Lemon drop martini was also very tasty.

Veronika was a great host for our dinner at Francesca’s tonight. Excellent food and service. We will be back!

We had a wonderful time dining at Francesca’s to celebrate a special birthday among friends. We tried different dishes and everything tasted fantastic. Our server, Servando, treated us like royalty. It is always a treat to dine here.
