Great spot to bring the whole family. Very inventive pub food and drinks. They are consistently adding new items to the menu, so you never get bored.

This place is darling! We had a great meal, our server was lovely and we will be back! I had the fish tacos and my husband had the blue bayou burger. We finished it all off with the deep fried cookie dough (delicious, but rich!!).

I drive through Port Byron pretty much every day for my job. In the more than two years since working at this location, I've never stopped anywhere in town either on the way or from work, and given recommendations for bars and restaurants recently provided by coworkers I felt it time to try something in the downtown. Tuggers would be the first stop in this effort.

I feel like it's not really necessary to state this, but the downtown of Port Byron along Main Street is not huge. It encompasses all of about three or so blocks. Tuggers is on the river side of this area, near the northern most part of the businesses lining the street. I'm a little bummed I haven't stopped by sooner - even in the winter, the walk along the street was quiet, with the sound of the river adding a certain calm to everything.

Tuggers is definitely a stand-out among the places around this area. Their establishment is in a newish looking building - or a very well refurbished one. Regardless, the interior is similarly sharp and new looking. Weathered looking laminate wood floor lines the space with black drop ceiling and recessed light fixtures above. There's a mix of booth, high table, and normal table seating through the space, as well as a few stools at the bar. Additional incandescent globe fixtures are spaced between the wine racks above the bar. The old looking brick and mortar walls add additional character to the space. On the whole, it's cozy and a little dark - I like it.

I opted to sit at the bar, even with the dining space mostly empty. I had a Hendrick gin and tonic, which was really well balanced and otherwise tasted great. I only needed to burn about 30 minutes, so I only ordered a side of seasoned fries to snack on. The fries were soon out and I snacked away. They were really well seasoned, tasted great!

At the urging of a gentleman at the bar, I need to come back for a future visit, possibly during the summer so as to sit on the big patio. I'm looking forward to this return trip and some more time in Main Street Port Byron. Thanks, Tuggers!

Not sure why this isn’t 5 stars…food is always amazing! Appetizers are phenomenal. Menu is small but everything is fantastic! Can’t go wrong with the buffalo dip….

Food is SO good. The best tater tots I’ve ever had. They even provide gluten free buns! I just wish they were open more days of the week.

Today, my wife and I stopped in to this place for lunch. Let’s start out with the view from the patio dining area...really scenic, and right on the river. Then the menu comes, and what a really unique selection of burgers. If you’re also into craft beers, they have a menu for you. My wife ordered the barnacle and I ordered the flagship. I was pretty hungry and dove right into mine. The Gouda cheese and the secret sauce combined to form a flavorful taste, and the egg was the cherry on top. This was probably one of the best burgers I’ve had with an egg. She started in on hers, and stated hers was very juicy and tasted good. If you’re a boater, you can pull your boat right up to a dock and go in for a meal too! This was a really good place, very clean, and the burgers lived up to the hype. Highly recommend if you’re wanting a burger, stop in to Tuggers!

Such a cute little place, with great food! I love the decoration, and the spot on the water makes for a lovely view. I got the fish tacos and I highly recommend, although I did not like the coleslaw that came with it.

We stopped here for dinner on our way to the Grand Canyon. There was a long traffic jam on the bridge going over the river so this was a last minute thought. We had the fish tacos - which were delicious! The staff were super friendly. Very clean. We sat out on the patio. There is a sand area outside for kids to play. A nice view of the river

The Warm Sausage and Kale Salad was very good. Next time I would ask for the dressing on the side because there was a little more than I prefer, but I still liked it. Their menu is not the standard fare - they have a lot of creative menu items. Good food!

What a gem! Traveling cross-country, we took the 5 minute detour from I-80 to enjoy lunch at Tuggers. The cool breeze off the water in the midday heat was the perfect accompaniment to the fresh, creative take on comfort food and the stellar beverage menu! I just wish we'd stayed long enough to visit the R Bar, where I hear Tuggers's owner has also showcased his inventive food and beverage flare. Special mentions: The deep fried cookie dough is even more decadent than it sounds! And the coconut rice is stunningly flavorful. Everything at Tuggers is top notch!

We dined on a Saturday evening. There were 9 of us, 3 children. Our waitress was wonderful and immediately took care of the kids' needs. <3 We started with the Buffalo dip, and it was awesome. We had burgers. Shout about the French dip burger. Very, very good. Live music was a nice touch. Good selection of
"fun" drinks.

730 on a Saturday night was very busy. Food and service was very good. Don't expect fast service when busy. There was live entertainment on patio. Very good guitar and singer.

We stopped by Tuggers on a Saturday afternoon for a drink and a snack. They were busy but we were seated right away and took a spot on the patio with an amazing view of the Mississippi river. We ordered a couple of their Flat Botton Breezers - cool and refreshing. We tried their Mississippi Charcuterie which is comprised of Fried Cheese Curds on a Stick, Hush Puppies, Sliced Sausage, Tangy Dipping Sauce. Very unique and delicious. All in all Tuggers is a hit with us. Highly recommended - stop by and see for yourself.
